    Argentina v Australia II @ 5.10am 14/08

It's still applicable today. It's why everyone keeps touching us up at scrum time Gallo is great around the field, but he knows what his primary job is

But he ran with the ball!!

There are no good scrummaging tightheads listed

    Wallabies 2023

Every winger wants to be a fullback, but he has never played there from the Brumbies at anymore than a pinch

    Wallabies 2023

True, and it goes back to coaching The craziest part is the guy that has had a big hand in improving coaching levels in Ireland is an Australian

    Argentina v Australia II @ 5.10am 14/08

Kepu was a loosehead back then, Alexander was a loosehead they tried converting to tighthead because they had no tightheads apparently. Slipper was primarily a loosehead back then too In 2011 Wallabies were desperate for a tighthead that wouldnt get demolished at scrum time

    Rebels 2023

Hahahaha you're complaining about a CEO that wants to win? This is peak Aussie rugby mentality right here

Palmer signed to go overseas specifically because they wouldn't pick him. Dude was our only good scrummaging tight head in decades and played 1 test. All the while they were bemoaning their weak scrum

Generally yes, but Rennie was the one putting a winger at Fullback. If you want to change someone's position you should at least make sure he understands what to do in the new position

This kind of thinking is how Rodney Blake ended up playing more games for the Wallabies than Dan Palmer

    Wallabies 2023

I think this is where we differ, I feel we do have the cattle. Talent or ability or even playing number are not the reason we are 7th. It's a lack of rugby nous. Ireland don't have better athletes than us, they just have players better coached from a young age than understand all aspects of the...

Haha that’s not how it works By that logic remove 2021 from Rennies record Why can all these other teams improve but we can’t?

    Wallabies 2023

No, I’d take dropping out of a World Cup if it meant wins in between. But we don’t even get that The fact is we haven’t won the Bledisloe in 2 decades and just went winless in a northern Tour. You say the wallaby jersey is sacred, yet defend all the poor performances of the players wearing it

But throwing to the wolves is exactly what he did with Lolesio. All his starts have come against the All blacks, England and France. He has never got to play Argentina or Scotland or Wales or any slightly lesser team O'Connor also had the worst game ive ever seen in the 2nd England test

    Wallabies 2023

I'm not saying we should sack him, I'm asking why did we bother signing him in the first place? This loser mentality is what's crippling Rugby in this country. How can we expect players to put expectations on themselves if fans don't even care

    Wallabies 2023

So if the results and performances are not anything to do with Rennie, then how exactly can we know whether he is a good coach or not? If we suck regardless, lets just get a cheap coach in and save some money

    Wallabies 2023

This idea that Lolesio hasn't been good is way overplayed. He was at 10 when they beat France in a test series. They looked a lot more organized with him at 10 vs England than the dross we saw vs Argentina. Half the guys tests starts are against the All Blacks with poor forward play in front of...

    Wallabies 2023

He doesn't have to win every game. The guy has a 39% win rate and has zero pressure, they are even talking about an extension Rennie has been giving more rope than any tier 1 coach in history. The welsh want Pivac sacked, the Scots want Townsend sacked, ditto the Kiwi's and even the english to...

    Wallabies 2023

Because history would have suggested that Quade would get injured, which unfortunately he did. Leaving us with our pants down a year out from the world cup it’s short term thinking. There needed to be a more long term view to the world cup. Just like playing Paenga-Amosa when he was leaving and...
