Waratahs vs Crusaders 2014 Super Rugby Grand Final

Don't worry about the Tahs, they've got their poker face.

Waratahs vs Crusaders 2014 Super Rugby Grand Final

Whats the drainage like at Allianz? I reckon half of the Tahs problem on Saturday was the Brumbies strangling game plan and half how heavy it looked under foot. Be nice to see Izzy, Kutrley and Bread get a chance on a dry, fast track.

Waratahs v Brumbies, SFS Saturday 26 July

Nick Phipps was my MOTM. He has come so far he is clearly 2nd best 9 in Oz and depending on the game plan could be considered #1. I think Burgess' plan to come back and slip into the Wallabies is shot to pieces if Phipps maintains form.

Waratahs v Brumbies, SFS Saturday 26 July

That was Michael Chieka's win. The Tahs attitude was unbelievable. They can win it next week. The Crusaders were made to look good by a clueless Sharks outfit.

Waratahs v Brumbies, SFS Saturday 26 July

I suppose the thinking is that if it's an Aus/NZ final, Joubert will do it and if it's Aus/SA....It will have to be Pollock.

Or does he crack under pressure. What's he kicking at this year, 50%? Feel free to tell yourself every things OK though.

    Perth Spirit News

In good news, Heath Tessman responded to Gaffa on twitter that he will be turning out for the Spirit. PS. Spirit, what a wet tea towel of a name. The Perth Spirit Fingers. Would have preferred to forget Spirit and go with the Black Swans, or something that is a WA identifier.

Don't criticise yet, he put ......... at the end. He is obviously going to expand further on that thought.

Qualifying Final 2: Brumbies v Chiefs. Sat. 19/07

I thought Joubers was really good. The only time the game was starting to get away from him was straight after the Speight card. He kind of blocked White on the try line but it was heading back for a penalty and the brumbies were pushing the line hard, so he just awarded the try and carried on...

I though Kerr-Barlow going off was a mistake. Pulu was a loose cannon out there.

Don't know who the fuck Lilo's kicking coach is, but he needs to be spending 4hrs a day for the next week analysing and correcting.

Just make bubba take his mum to the match. Problem solved.

Who was the "official"? What's the point of getting down on the boys at the end of the season? I'd say it was Vern Reid if he was still around.

The Other Qualifier - Sharks vs Clan - Saturday

Wrong thread, but fuck me Waratahs. Cheika's going to have to get out his game face picture again. Simmer down you bunch of neck beards.

    S18 on its way

I'm sorry for the lack of empathy, but as a supporter of the most travelled sports team in the world, if the Japanese bid is significantly better I don't think we can ignore that. I much prefer the 3 x 6 conference model and we will take Japan. But that just doesn't seem to be on the cards.

    S18 on its way

It's SA foisting this abomination of an idea on us. If SANZAR decides Japan is the way to go, tough titties I say. Enjoy the flight.

    Adopt a finalist 2014

I'm getting behind the Ponies (it's way too fashionable to back the Tahs now). I don't feel the need to change my avatar though.

    Western Force 2015

I don't think we lose significantly more players that we want to keep than other Aus franchises these days. Ioane and Drew Mitchell were hard losses to take back in the day as they headed home east. Hayward is already an import. It stands to reason he is going to go again looking for more...

    Reds v Waratahs, round 19 2014

Being a supporter of a Super team where it is likely we don't have a single player on a top up, I think the system stinks. If the ARU were serious about growing the game in all of Aus, they would guarantee the same amount of money that gets paid to each team. The value of the top ups would be...

    Western Force 2015

Whatever we do, we need to recruit with an eye to picking attacking players. It's pretty gutting to look at the Super Rugby ladder and to see 3 teams above us with one less win. We need to find a way to score bonus points if we want to be a real threat next year.
