Probably depends whether they've already 'placed it' back or if they just shoot it straight up off the deck. If they place it and then pick it back up then pretty obviously playing it on the ground.

At the very, very least it would have given us the option of having a goalkicker at 10 which means we can pick one of our most consistent backline players at 15. It's not like he would have been obligated to play, for eg, Quade if he brought him. Just provides an option. Anyway - yeah...

I still cannot fathom the rationale behind only picking one (non-kicking) flyhalf for the squad. It's obviously objectively illogical but I can't see what motivation EJ (Eddie Jones) might have had except petulance? It's like we have a teenager managing the side.
