^ Reds U18s play Rebels U18s in Melbourne on Sunday June 30th, they are in camp the week leading up to the game here in Brisbane. Imagine they will leave naming the team until closer to then. They play Waratahs U18's late Sept up here with the Australian U18's then announced.

In short , yes . The GPS as a whole decided to put their support behind the Academy pathway, GT broke ranks of sort and didn’t stand in the way of students who wanted to trial. Not all of their top talent did trial . The majority of the AIC comp supported it , with MCA the exception.

They were the only GPS school that "allowed" their students to trial. Even then , not all of them trialled. 2 pathways this year, Schoolboys and Academy, GPS schools as a whole seem to have given the Academy pathway their approval.
