    2nd Test Wallabies v France 8pmTuesday 13th July,

Not bad mouthing Hooper here at all, he did all he had to do to score but all of Lolesio, Banks and Kellaway did more to make the break and keep the ball in order to give Hooper the free run to the line.

The difference to me Cyclo was that Tupou looked to see where the overlap was and sent the ball straight there. Jake's biggest downfall imo is that he invariably picks the side of the ruck with most defence to send the ball.

Looks great when he runs straight doesn't he? I am happy to acknowledge he had one of the best games tonight. The expression on his face a few times was entirely "Thank fuck I'll be out of this mob soon".

TSR, have to disagree about the respective box kicking skills of Tate v Gordon. Jake's box kicks were mostly considerably too long and put the receivers under no pressure. He also put one out on the full from outside the 22. Tate's were generally better directed and of better length. If there...

    Wallabies 2021

I have never intimated that Koroibete is the root cause of the Wallabies' problems. I do believe he contributes to them, but not near the sole or main cause. The main cause seems to be the lack of sufficient skills across the backline both individually and as a unit. Maybe coaching needs to be...

Shannon Frizell: Laughing stock. AB's failed to protect their own ruck ball again and again. Thats your fucking job, Crossword Boy. SURELY even Company Man Fozzie can see there's at least 4 better options than this big baby now. Borrowed this little gem from DP on the NZ team site. Substitute...

    2nd Test Wallabies v France 8pmTuesday 13th July,

Consistency would seem to suggest that Hooper gets a full rest if McReight starts. No 7 on the bench is very rare. I'd be entirely happy with JOC (James O'Connor) as Captain.

    2nd Test Wallabies v France 8pmTuesday 13th July,

I think we need LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto)'s experience in this test. Darcy is still very green at this level - bench is best.

    Wallabies 2021

Stick with most of the same team, I agree, but make improvements where you can. For Test 2 I'd like to see : Slipper, BPA, TT, Philip, LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto), Valetini, Hooper, Wilson, Tate, JOC (James O'Connor), Daugunu, Paisami, Ikitau, Wright, Banks. Lonergan, Bell, AAA, Swain, Naisarani, Gordon, Lolesio, Kellaway...

    Refereeing decisions

Still not decisive in respect of the left foot though.* Also, what constitutes being attached to the ruck. Hooper doesn't seem to have a bind on anyone but both Valetini and whomever the other player over the ruck is look to be attached to him. * the ball is behind (further from the tryline)...

    Refereeing decisions

My impression live was that Hooper had one foot in front of the ball when he picked it up, and as (I think) Dru said actually over the tryline. I haven't seen a replay, but in real time I reckoned it was off side all day long.

My only suggestion would be to have Wilson run wider and Valetini to play in tight. I reckon that would better suit their respective skills.

And surprisingly D, at least to some, MKs returns were more lateral while TBs were more directly at the defense. MK looks great to the uninitiated but he's really not very effective.

If kicking for touch on a penalty is a core skill for a fullback, then I am flabbergasted by how many teams around the world don't kn ow this and have such minor illuminaries as Mo'unga, Barretts etc doing their thing. Incidentally, how many touches did TB miss later in the game (ie anytime...

KOB, that's not a bad looking side for Test No 2. It is a risk though to take what the French coach says at fgace value, would you not agree? Personally, I'd stick with Slipper and BPA in the starters, just in case. I do like the partnering of Swain and Philip in the second row. and if...

I have little doubt Hanigan would be better than Valenti whomever he is. But Valetini is a class above Hanigan. FFS, get the names right will you. I might then take your comments seriously.

Best sniping No9 in world rugby would have to be Aaron Smith. Don't often see him coming on after 60 minutes. Tate adds a level of danger to oppositions that Jake just doesn't. Incidentally, most supporters of Jake point to his running game as a point of difference. The truth is that he...

He's had many times the influence on the game that MH has had. Not all of it legal, mind, but just doing what a No 7 should be doing.
