Consistency would seem to suggest that Hooper gets a full rest if McReight starts. No 7 on the bench is very rare. I'd be entirely happy with JOC (James O'Connor) as Captain.

My impression live was that Hooper had one foot in front of the ball when he picked it up, and as (I think) Dru said actually over the tryline. I haven't seen a replay, but in real time I reckoned it was off side all day long.

My only suggestion would be to have Wilson run wider and Valetini to play in tight. I reckon that would better suit their respective skills.
