Pretty simple really - keep the same forward pack, and if Diggers and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) are definitely out, bring in Cummins, and Horne. I must admit I prefer Tomane over Cummins, but if you have Cummins in the back 3 with Beale and Folau, he would provide balance and straighten the attack up, hopefully down...
Just rewatched the match again, and have some thoughts.
Wallaby forward pack was fucking immense; better around the park, had parity at least in the lineout and in the scrum [where the Lions scrum looked dominant early on, the Wallaby scrum switched that around in the latter part of the second...
Looking forward to this test, more so as a Wallabies win relies on us tieing it 1 all in Melbourne.
We all know the men in gold always start the international season off on a bad note (Scotland 2012 and Samoa 2011 anyone?).
They will bounce back as they always do from a loss and expect...
Team named for this match:
Henderson, Robinson, Weeks, Neville, Pyle, Saffy, Fuglistaller, Delve
Burgess, Hegarty, Mitchell, Sidey, Inman, English, Woodward
Thoroughly enjoyed the fta coverage on channel 10.
Gordon Bray with Matt Burke, Stirling Mortlock and the prominent Scottish commentator were very very good!
Disappointed by the result but definitely proud of the heart the men in green and gold showed when we lost Leali'ifano, Barnes, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper), and had to play Hooper in the centres!
Apart from the scrums in the first 50 minutes, the Wallaby forward pack had the clear edge over their Lions counterparts...
Fuck yeah, the game is almost upon us.
Gonna watch it with some indifferent rugby fans, and convert them to heavensgame!
Go the men in green and gold!!!
Pretty simple really, I would've had Brussouw over Coetzee or Kolisi at openside but I can see the logic behind Heinrich's decision to go to Japan for some coin.
For whatever reason, he is not in Heyneke's calculations, as has been hinted in the media he would prefer the youngsters to develop...
