    Drew Mitchell - not suspended

It's against the law, but it's not in the "foul play" part, right? I hate these arguments.

    LOCKED: Time to Sack Deans?

I was just there for a checkup!

Memo to JON and your "event manager"

I'm just going to write "I disagree" every time Semenya comes up, OK? And the best anthem is the French, followed by the Yanks. The 18th century was a great time to become a republic.

So, two yellows equals a red, except that knocking a ball out of the hands is not in the foul play laws. Typical laws - you need a judge to make an interpreation of law. Anyway, the first yellow was bullshit of the highest (ie Kaplanesque) rank, and the second was fair enough, even though he...

    LOCKED: Time to Sack Deans?

Just this thread, I mean. It's like meeting people you know in a brothel.

    Richie McCaw Cheat or genius

Mate, I couldn't agree more. I'm always really pleased when non-Aussies join the forum. And I reckon while I've developed the forum, I've always tried to be extra-lenient on foreign posters as a way of overcoming my inbuilt prejudices. And we all know that as you travel the world, it's always...

    Wallabies team for next week?

When we were all picking the first Wallaby team of the year, among the most-selected players were Baxter and (to a lesser extent) Turner. I don't think a single person selected Brown or Chisholm. We shouldn't adjust our own thinking to fall in line with Robbie's.

    Richie McCaw Cheat or genius

Population Kiwiland: 4 million (not counting woolly friends) Population rest of rugby playing world: I dunno, 1 billion? Richie's legacy is assured in New Zealand. If that's all he cares about, fine. With other people, I reckon they are conflicted. Very good player, but was allowed to get away...

    Kaplan. What to say?

I agree Disco. This stuff about not having the cattle surprises me. Cooper and Gits (as a 12 or 15) are also very good players.

    Hey True Blue ...

You can chat more about that in 2 weeks.

    Richie McCaw Cheat or genius

OK - but you tell me. What's a better legacy? Being remembered as the best fetcher, or best link man, or most all-around skilled loose forward? Or remembered as the guy who was able to get away with more illegal play than anyone else? Anyway, I've said all I have to say about Richie.

    Richie McCaw Cheat or genius

Well, I think the last two games show the two sides of the man. I much prefer him to play legally. I think games like last week tarnish his image and legacy in the game. This week, he was an all-round rugby machine (who got outplayed by Pocock).

    Richie McCaw Cheat or genius

Virgil, I'm not having a go here, but I don't see what you mean. Joubert was very strict on the ABs at the ruck in the first 20 minutes, and as a result, Pocock was able to outplay McCaw. Seems to confirm what I've been saying. Also seems to confirm what we saw in the S14 when Richie was pretty...

AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) to 13 where he should be. Turner and Hynes are the only genuine 15s. While H is injured, T should be there.

    Green & Gold Rugby's 3-2-1 best Wallabies v All Blacks. Melbourne 31.07.2010

Sounds like you're trying to "vote what's in front of you". Take my advice, stick to the structure.
