    The Pulverisation of Australian Rugby

The QLD government saw flood insurance as a bet as well, look at how well that panned out! I don't see insurance as a bet at all, if anything it's good business sense to have a back up plan. The fact that the ARU are being smart with their money and how it gets expended should be commended by...

RWC 2015 Semi Final 2 - Australia v Argentina Twickenham, Monday 19 October, 2:45 AEDT

How I hope we get some justify over his flop from earlier this year. While he coppied a high hit last weekend, he definitely let the Ref know that he was fouled!

RWC 2015 Semi Final 2 - Australia v Argentina Twickenham, Monday 19 October, 2:45 AEDT

At the same time, the Blackness Juggernaut is what allows Dan to play so well. We saw in 2011 that even without him in that 10 spot they were just as lethal. Same thing happens with the Wallabies, while Foley may not be anywhere near the quality of Carter at an individual level, if the blokes...

RWC 2015 Semi Final 2 - Australia v Argentina Twickenham, Monday 19 October, 2:45 AEDT

As I spent my entire "playing" career in the bottom of rucks, I have no idea how the backs pass the ball. The last couple of weeks has shown we've struggled against a fast rush defence. Knowing the playstyles of our two 10's; Foley, who stands deeper when waiting for the ball and Cooper who is...

RWC QF 4 AUS v SCO (Twickenham) 19th Oct 0200 AEDT

At the same time, a few mistakes were made come scrum time which gifted the Scots points as well. But we only hear about the call that "cost" Scotland the game and not the incorrect penalties in the first half. Hell, if the Scots didn't have an overthrow in the first place none of this would...

RWC QF 4 AUS v SCO (Twickenham) 19th Oct 0200 AEDT

You could also argue that Gatland over-trained his players in those weird Siberian and Middle east camps which over-fatigued the players resulting in more injuries. While other teams like Australia, New Zealand etc managed their training and load properly and tried to limit the fatigued induced...

RWC QF 4 AUS v SCO (Twickenham) 19th Oct 0200 AEDT

The 2011 Duck is considered World Class? This duck wasn't in prime condition either, he'd been fishing and drinking on a boat as well.

    Reds 2016

Check out how the Football (soccer) teams were run in Queensland and don't forget the Brisbane Lions. The Reds are getting close to that rung though.

    Reds 2016

Sooooooooooo who paid for JOC (James O'Connor)'s surgery and now rehab? Seems Toulon got a bargain out of this. With the Force, Rebels and now Reds bitten by him, surely he's running out of options of playing for the Wallabies again (I doubt the Brumbies will bother with him and, so the tahs could low ball him...

RWC: AUS v WAL (Twickenham): POOL A; 2:45am (AEDT) Sunday 11 October

Foley's kicking has definitely improved, it's just a shame Bernie hasn't got Foley's passing from left to right better. That push-league pass he did to no-one sent shivers down my spine.

    The Fallout from RWC 2015

At the same time, if we have to go down that route (playing the Scots then the Irish), we'd have gotten an accidental Grand Slam over the United Kingdom.

Ledesma keen to stay in Oz

The scrums Stiles packed down in are vastly different to the scrums of today's era. Yet for a season or two, everyone has been singing his praises in how the Reds have developed their scrum.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Weird, I would have thought it'd be the otherway around. Horwill was more the lineout/jumping lock while Carter was more running/ruck based.

    Reds 2016

You're assuming that these players would want to move to Japan and travel more than they're currently doing. Sure you can make the argument about they'd follow the money, but I'd be willing to bet those guys like Horwill, Quade and Genia who have been making decent coin for the past 4-5 years...

RWC: AUS v ENG (Twickenham): POOL A; 6am (AEDT) Sunday 4 October

At the same time, every single person in Camp England will be shitting themselves not to screw up due to the extra pressure on them. Having this extra pressure can either help or hinder, I haven't followed the English closely enough to know what their mental state as a team is under pressure...

    Reds 2016

Knowing nothing about signings in Rugby, but do they work like they do in Football? As in, the team signing the player does a complete medical before giving them a contract?

    Reds 2016

Something like that was probably said around 2006/07 when he first came onto the scene. With the right guidance and structure, who knows what Greene will be able to develop into. There's not many quality 10's we can sign at this point, so we're going to struggle in this area. Lets just hope it...

    Reds 2016

Didn't JJT just have knee surgery for an ACL? While it's some time till the first game of next season, as we've seen with other players, knee injuries take 8-12 months to really come good again.
