    AIC Rugby 2011

Well done Padua! Hopefully they can go through and win it outright. Sad to hear about Lauries woes (sounds like the rub of the green just hasn't gone with them this year) but boy it gives me pleasure when anyone other than Ashgrove win the premiership. :)

Wow. Umm yeah, I do understand that. I assure you that it was a totally innocent question, no malicious intent at all. Looking back at it, I could have phrased it better to signal my light, friendly intentions. The smiley face isn't quite good enough.

No more thrashings in NZ Jnr Rugby

Come Tri-Nations and World Cup time, they're gonna need this rule by the time we're done with 'em! Amiright!

    The Death of the Props

I still remember his performance in the 2000 Grand Final. Webcke got all the wraps for playing with his busted arm (deservedly so) but Thorne was absolutely massive.

    Al Baxter retires

Let's not get petty here, huh? So long to a great servant of Aus rugby. Hope he gets a great ending to his 2011 campaign and his career.

Sad that Toua couldn't be playing this one.

    The JOC (James O'Connor) Saga

Agreed, great news if true. He's a true franchise player (to use an American sporting term) and the Force need him.

    Reds 2011

I wrote a bit of an opinion piece on the Reds the other day, and put it up on The Roar. Have a look if you like: http://www.theroar.com.au/2011/06/02/rugby-rising-on-a-tide-that-floats-all-boats/ Would appreciate any thoughts and comments you may have!

One hell of a whinge from our Kiwi compadres

Dickinson was screaming at him to stay out of it. He chose not to listen. He was penalised. The end.

I'll give you patience, but not the others. :p

Video: Judiciary looks into Rhodes collar and Deysel throttle

You're stretching your argument to ridiculous lengths here (by picking close to the most unlikely scenario possible) but to play along, I think if Cooper did do such a strangle throw on Botha and Botha retaliated the same, many of us would still see it as totally justified.

    Elsom: In or Out?

Don't need Palu. Give us Samo instead.

Ladies & Gentleman, this is your captain speaking.

Good man. For the record, I totally agree re: McCaw. He was outstanding.

    I can vouch for this.
