    Wallabies 31 Man Squad

o_O that doesn't exactly fill me with confidence. If Moore goes down we are in trouble.

    Wallabies 31 Man Squad

Pommy Journos...please. I hate this notion being past around that the only chance of the wallabies winning is by some moment of pure individual brilliance. Someone forgot to remind the Poms how fckn hard it is to beat the Wallabies at Suncorp. Just ask the All Blacks. We will beat the Lions by...

    Wallabies 31 Man Squad

?? MMM looks fine to me. He's playing pretty well though. looks to have a bit of rust, Playing wide of the ruck but is carrying well and is getting into position in defence well. As long as he pulls through uninjured he is surely a shoe-in

Battle of the Blood Red: Lions v Queensland Reds 8th June 2013

I agree with Quick Hands. To each his own. I have no problem with JOC (James O'Connor) starting at 10. With Beale at Fullback, Lilo/Barnes at 12 and the world's best halfback inside him, im sure he'll do a great job, but we'll have to wait til the first test to find out. JOC (James O'Connor) has never let us down on the field...

Battle of the Blood Red: Lions v Queensland Reds 8th June 2013

I think that comment goes to the heart of the issue here. Cooper undoubtably over played his hand last night. There was one point in the 20th minute where he passed to no one and if it had not been for a mistake from the Lions player it would have been 7 points against the Reds.We cant afford...

Pyle is out injured. MMM is the best option for a backup lock. Other than that Carter and Neville are the other options

Battle of the Blood Red: Lions v Queensland Reds 8th June 2013

I thought I'd find the SkyUK commenters more entertaining to listen to last night. I didn't. I don't know the commentators by name but one of the guys was like the British/Irish version of Marto. the bloke continually commented that the Lions team is "nowhere near full strength". take your hand...

    Lions Tour 2013

I think you're mad if you think the Wallabies aren't going to play with speed and use players like Genia, JOC (James O'Connor), Beale, Folau, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper), etc to play up-tempo. They'll definitely play with more structure than the Reds and wont chance their arm as much but I cant see them playing set piece rugby.

Why is Marto employed as a commentator?

    New Zealand vs France

I actually think the All Blacks team looks pretty good. Is this a two match series? You can count on the French to ambush the All Blacks New Zealand in at least one of the games. But I don't think it will be this game. I reckon the French will be off the pace given that the kiwi players are...

Battle of the Blood Red: Lions v Queensland Reds 8th June 2013

yeh and to make matters worse, guys like AWH, O'Donoghue and Daley haven't been regularly playing 60+ minutes this season. Will be a real test of character

    Wallabies 31 Man Squad

It's hard to tell if Deans has already chosen his final 6 or not. I wouldn't be surprised if he's interested to see how Samo goes, but he'd have to play pretty well to get chosen. With Timani and Pyle both unavailable, the big question is who is the fourth lock.. Surely MMM has to be the man.

Battle of the Blood Red: Lions v Queensland Reds 8th June 2013

By the looks of both benches, its going to be hard for the Reds to hang with the Lions in the last 20 minutes. Their reserve front row has it all over our reserve front row. Looking forward to Samo making an impact in the second half

Battle of the Blood Red: Lions v Queensland Reds 8th June 2013

I love the prospect of this game as much as I hate the prospect of listening to Marto commentate for this game...a fuckload

    Wallabies 31 Man Squad

I think the starting front row of Robinson/Moore/Alexander would be the best way to go.

    Wallabies 31 Man Squad

I basically share your sentiment. Although I agree with most people that Hooper will probably chosen to start due to his great form for the Wallabies last year. Hopefully we get to see Gill start in either the second or third test.

Battle of the Blood Red: Lions v Queensland Reds 8th June 2013

Biggsy you raise an intriguing aspect of this game which is the coaching battle. McKenzie has a chance to show he can out-coach Deans; play a better, more entertaining game, even with a much weaker squad. That's one thing that's great about McKenzie. You know he always rocks up with a plan...

Battle of the Blood Red: Lions v Queensland Reds 8th June 2013

Around the park this teams should compete pretty well with the Lions, particularly the back-row and in the backs. But with 4 of the starting tight-5 out, the Lions should be able to press their advantage in the set piece. Also a Reds team without Horwill and Genia is not the most attractive...

    Wallabies 31 Man Squad

Ha, how many games did Pocock actually play this year? two?..three? It's a bit rich to say he hadn't developed his attacking play, when he really never got the opportunity. He mentioned at the start of the season he was working on that area and I did notice in those first 2 or 3 games that he...
