Perhaps. But I think it would be more likely that if he was excelling so much at training then his sub par performance would be either just nerves, or the Reds coaching being ill equipped to properly prepare players for rugby matches. I haven't seen any indication of a massive ego so can't...

The reds set piece play was strong last night, just as it was for the majority of last season. I think Stiles is clearly a very capable guy in coaching the forwards in the technical aspects. In general play, the reds get blasted off the ball a lot.

Gee the referee is merciless on the Rebels. The reds really should be leading by at least 30 points given they seem to have the referee adjudicating very much in their favour.

Reds still can't seem to score tries (again). Have had a number of opportunities but still fail to be able to get over the line. Young Duncan is having a very tough baptism.
