    Aussie Player Exodus

I agree, in the interests of keeping super rugby strong I think that dropping the number of Aussie teams might be best. Tahs, Brumbies and one or both of the Rebels and force would be my pick (depending on if we can pick 3 or 4 teams).

Is that actually what happened? (the player power thing)

    Reds 2015

@Tomikin, I don't recall them putting the crowd figure up at the brumbies game - and no one I went with can recall it either. Are you sure you aren't confusing it with the number they flash up for the ticket draw prize thing? It's put up on the screen with about 10-15 minutes to go.

    Reds 2015

Any coach appointed now (short term or otherwise) is unlikely to turn the series around now. But that isn't the important thing right now. Right now it is important to start unlearning the Richard Graham and Steve Meehan method of playing rugby and start learning some basic generic go to plays...

    Reds v Lions 7pm Friday 27th Mar

If this is the fabled Richard Graham game plan, then he can just fuck off right now please. It isn't the players, it isn't the injuries, it isn't the weather, and it isn't the recruitment or off field issues. It is Richard Graham. He is epically shit as a head coach. God I hopel reds just...

    Reds 2015

hahaha. :D On the Brad Thorn thing: Is it a time for the Reds to experiment for a potentially good coach or an historically good and experienced coach? It could be argued that the RG was a risky experiment and to follow that up with another venture might be pushing things a bit too far atm.

    Reds 2015

I think this is why I get so carried away and frustrated with RG sometimes because he has a penchant for some unusual decisions and tactics that just don't seem to make sense (and often don't end up working). They are often very different to how other coaches do things, and contrary to what...

    Coaching Options for Qld Rugby

It still depends. If the gameplay is still disjointed and relies principally on individual brilliance, then I would still want him gone even if we were winning because the chances would be that the overall skill development would be lacking and if i just want to watch awesome individual stuff...

    Reds v Lions 7pm Friday 27th Mar

The reds have a pretty good side on paper. RG said not to expect much in the way of cohesion (or words to that effect) which is only natural given how little they have all played together recently. It will be interesting to see how this game pans out - a team of good individuals without a lot...

    Reds 2015

On paper, that is a scarily good team. On form, maybe not so much. I hope we start to get it together and certainly would love it if the Reds belt the snot out of the Lions in a week.

    Coaching Options for Qld Rugby

if someone posts something like: Followed by several posts discussing WHY HE SHOULD STAY FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE SEASON, don't be surprised when others respond with why they think he should not.

    Coaching Options for Qld Rugby

The only logical reason I can think of why he has not been fired as of this moment is that the reds have not found a suitable caretaker coach candidate who is willing to take the job on. Unfortunate, if that is the case.

I would imagine he will still be hearing the bells ringing for the next couple of years.

    Coaching Options for Qld Rugby

If we get some players back and then beat the Lions, does this mean that Richard Graham's performance clock is reset? Is the benchmark for the reds and Richard Graham now just to avoid the bottom of the ladder from now on? Will the fact that he has not managed to ever get any team of his to...

    Coaching Options for Qld Rugby

I don't recall the crowd figures being put up on the big screen - but then I was covering my eyes for a lot of the play. From what I saw, it certainly looked like a fair bit bigger crowd than the one that attended the Western Force game, but definitely less than the Waratahs match. It is...

    Coaching Options for Qld Rugby

. I see now. It is so clear. The plan is to score lots of points such that the other team has less points and thereby win that match. Unbelievable insight from the master coach. (I'm sorry all, but the presser is unbelievably infuriating. He just needs to go right friggen now). *edit*...

    Reds vs Brumbies - Rd 5, 2015

Graham never gives insightful comments in the presser, because he doesn't know what happened. Have a look through any presser after the match and it is a lot of "didn't front up", "lack of execution", "lacked physicality", and "missed tackles" etc. It is only in the thursday youtube press...
