    Wallabies 2023

It'll be interesting to see whether Aus A's strategy against Tonga is also kick-to-win, and if so, whether there's any standout performances. I know Campbell's kicking was key to that win over the Chiefs.

    Wallabies 2023

Aside from the Reds' kicking performances against the Chiefs (more so in their win than the quarters), have any Super teams/players consistently displayed the kicking nous required for such a plan to be effective on the international stage? Maybe White?

    RWC jerseys

Your understanding is misguided - the teams are free to determine their own alternate/clash strip, so long as it meets the broadcast requirements, which have/will be extended to include considerations of colour blindness. Aus nominated white as their alternate/clash strip - they don't have to be...

    RWC jerseys

In seriousness though, I understand your point from an 'identity' perspective - however no one is proposing clash strips be worn all the time, and ultimately I think that making the game accessible to fans holds greater importance. It's also no different to having a home and away strip, which...

Re: all the hoops comments - the answer is yes and no. So long as the colours chosen are not similarly impacted, it may help (as with @Drew's example); however, as with the below, you can see that it's not necessarily a fix in all cases. The other consideration is that there are several...

    RWC jerseys

Possibly the most reductionist statement I've ever read about rugby. Last thing I'll say given the thread - 1 in 12 males are colour blind. Have a look at these examples below and see if you still think it'd be easy viewing. The last one serves as an example of the impact of good contrast, as...

Weight isn't everything; Force = Mass x Acceleration. He may be missing some of the latter.

Not quite that simple, unfortunately - although improving contrast/saturation settings can help for some users. Having a high contrast ratio between team jerseys (i.e. light vs dark) is also beneficial for low-vision users.

    Wallabies 2023

I'm not defending Vunivalu's performance by any stretch, but I actually thought he seemed to be caught out of position (relative to his teammates) on far fewer occasions than early in the Super season. It's good to see some growth in his game, even if it's not to an international standard yet.

    Wallabies 2023

This was the overall standout to me from the game - they played like a team that had been pulled at random off the street 10min prior. The continuity and structures were just not there.

Yeah - pretty sure he flagged the likelihood of several changes due to the travel / turnaround

I reckon Eddie will shake things up - I have a feeling he's viewing the SA and Arg games as testbeds for the Bled and WC.

Size doesn't equate to capability - regardless of headspace, you can simply be outplayed. As I said, not having a go, but it's an important distinction. Never hurts to take some feedback on board occasionally...

    Wallabies 2023

Against the Boks we were physically monstered, lacked direction, and had a game plan that was effectively countered. It's as simple as that. Sports / performance psychologists* by the way - psychiatrists are doctors who have then specialised (and can administer drugs). Not having a go, just a...

Yeah, after a sleep, I agree. My main point is that if we want a playmaking 12 who isn’t Kerevi, or even a utility bench, I think JOC (James O'Connor) needs to come into the fray over Hodge.

Springboks v Wallabies, Loftus Versfeld, Sun 9th Jul 1.05am AEST

I’m not sure Kerevi got a touch during structured attack, which may be partly why he seemed to lack impact
