    Super Rugby 2022

The flip side of that is if we place less importance on scrummaging we will get smoked every time we go North

    Proposed Nations Championship

But we can’t afford to be investing in other nations now. It’s the third year we are getting players to take a pay cut we will lose more big names overseas. We need to solely address our best interest financially I do support growing the game in a global sense and as soon as we are back on our...

    Proposed Nations Championship

If we are splitting the money 24 ways we should go nowhere near it. We have to do what’s in our best interest first and foremost. If this nations cup can deliver us more money then we should look at it. If not we shouldn’t take part We aren’t a charity the game here is struggling financially

Super Rugby Rnd 1: Reds v Rebels

S&C is a big issue, a few mates have studied sports science and have known people have done work placement and graduate programs there and unfortunately I have heard negative things about how it operates there

Super Rugby Rnd 1: Reds v Rebels

Seeing the weakened side has me feeling pretty flat. I don’t see how we have any hope against the Reds. It’s the same story every year with players getting injured, it’s time the club invested properly in the strength and conditioning staff.

    Proposed Nations Championship

How are 24 nations getting cash? Only 12 are competing. If we are splitting the money 24 ways we should have nothing to do with it

Super Rugby Rnd 1: Reds v Rebels

Every year down here we get a massive kick in the guts before the season even starts
  8. Rebel man

    Rebels 2022

Every fucking year, fuck! Why can’t we ever have a good run with injuries
  9. Rebel man

    Proposed Nations Championship

Last time That was my understanding that there would be revenue sharing so all nations got an even split. Last time they were talking about the annual broadcast rights being 7.8 billion USD so an equal share of that and the split of the gate takings would go a long way here

    Proposed Nations Championship

Also when I say more regional tournament I mean in that spring window
  11. Rebel man

    Proposed Nations Championship

Well currently we make next to nothing from going to Europe in the spring as the home side gets the gate The talk last time was the TV rights for the League of Nations was worth $7.8b annually So if that holds true every second year we make bank. It can’t be less than we get now

    Super Rugby 2022

It’s not that hard. Just do it Thursday night at 6 like the AFL have managed for 100 or more years
  13. Rebel man

    Proposed Nations Championship

I agree for example in 25 the lions year we could have more regional tournaments Like Aus travel to play Tonga, Samoa and emerging nations in Asia Argentina could play Brazil, USA and Canada The European nations could play the smaller European nations in their Autumn

    Rugby Championship 2021

I like it as in 25 when it’s a Lions year there is still the opportunity to play against tier two nations and give back to the game as well as playing them in World Cup years
  15. Rebel man

    Proposed Nations Championship

    I agree there
  16. Rebel man

    Proposed Nations Championship

I like it, also if it helps the southern nation’s financially that’s also a plus I feel with the proposal of it being held over two seasons it gives us two seasons to play tier two opponents and give back to the game
  17. Rebel man

    Super Rugby 2022

Surely all at once, would be a step in the wrong direction to go the other way
  18. Rebel man

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

He can’t of ever played an officially sanctioned match until after he was contracted as they were the rules.
  19. Rebel man

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Then got a doping ban good riddance, also I wouldn’t say he was a product of the school either as he hadn’t played a game of Aussie Rules when recruited by Collingwood. They used an old system to pick him up where you could sign athletes from NSW or Qld who aren’t registered players for club or...
