Good insight into how a "good club" is run (Saracens) by Andy Goode on the House of Rugby Podcast It highlights why Skelton re-signed, a good, supportive club that challenges for silverware every year (and pays well)

Yep. it is always about balance Too often we (myself included) focus too much on a units negatives and ignore what they contribute

With no Force, there shouldn't be any Foreign Marques, be available for the Wobs or be prepared to become available for the Wobs only

Funny I have thought TT has been decidedly average around the field this season (I think because he is using much more energy at scrum time) Kepu is a different animal when he knows he has a budgeted time. For the Tahs he was expected to play 60 to 70 minutes, when he is doing that he manages...

TT has raw strength but little technique as yet, he has been found out this season by units who outmaneuver him

So, we have a few trials going on IMHO Kepu Vs TT for the bench spot Pocock - can he find some form? Dempsey as a 6 - I would guess Hooper coming off the bench will see Isi or Dempsey subbed with the Pooper to finish Kerevi, can he pass? and how will he work at 13 when To'omua is pushed out to...

Our form 10 needs "managing", our back up 10 is out of form so we go for plan "c" Just be thankful that plan "D" Beale or plan "E" JOC (James O'Connor) haven't been dragged out

That is interesting because Penny has been stuck in the Japanese back water for a while and to me really needed a better opportunity Did great with Canterbury/Crusaders Did OK at Munster eventually Went to Japan When you look at a career path, the adjective I see is "stalled"

Yeah, I do question the concerns about timing of the coach and the roster, they have developed a policy of developing from within and that is set up. They won't be buying a couple of superstars, they just have a few squad spots where they need specific characteristics. Let's see who comes...

Not too sure about that, these games highlight who can stick with the game plan when it gets messy and re-set

Agree apart from the Pooper, Pocock isn't playing well enough to justify the compromise Isi, Dempsey & Hooper to start, LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) or Pocock on the bench, probably LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) as you can budget Hooper for 80
