Correct, even the NRL take this stance

From memory any chatter about Jake white getting the role were shot down by Jake white. I might be wrong but have recollections about that. Regardless, no point rewriting history with a a heap of ifs.

I think they would have to stand them down while it goes through the courts to have any integrity. These can go on for a long time though as it’s often basically ‘he says she says’. Eg de Belin, Higgins etc. For someone his age it could mean the end so he’ll probably be getting a lot of game...

Wouldn't he be in the Waratahs if was?

We now know who the league players are, as for the overseas ones - half a dozen locks, BPA, Foley, Quade, Kerevi, Koroibete, and maybe even Nick Phipps considering all the current halfbacks after White are a downgrade.

That’s bullshit, he played juniors for the young yabbies and then followed his fathers footsteps through scots where nature took its course. He has a proper rugby juniors background. I know his parents well, his old man played Aus schoolboys in 87, his maternal uncle also went to Scots, as did...

Re hooker, I’d reckon Eddie’s pecking order will be BPA, Latu, Porecki, Fainga'a, Lonergan - with Uelese somewhere in there as well

I thought about Pennisini yesterday but left him out as he didn’t play Aus schoolboys - however it was that Covid year that didn’t have one. He was a class act in the last round game when Kings flogged Joeys for the premiership in front of no crowd. There may have been a paper schoolboys team...

I didn’t say you commented on it, I said you ignore it

    Wallabies 2023

Sorry, I’m still in 2022, I meant for the 2023 World Cup. Beyond that though, yeah sure
  11. KOB1987

    Wallabies 2023

Not necessarily, he loves his rugby by all accounts. He won’t be on Eddie’s hit list for next year though

I know you don’t like Folau for other reasons but you legit stand alone with your ignorance of his sporting talent
  13. KOB1987

    Wallabies 2023

That’s kind of what I was getting at, I’m not expecting him to try it out

What’s the saying, contracts are made to be broken? You are probably right about Murray but I know for a fact that angus wants to play pro rugby before he hangs up the boots. Not necessarily in Aus but if there is a carrot here I am sure he will look at it.

Point taken, there were several failures in there such as Timani Tahu. I’m not actually advocating it would work but I’m just guessing at the hitlist:

The bloke has almost limitless talent. I would put him alongside Folau if we were allowed to.

My guesses would be Sua'ali'i, Murray and Chricton. The first is a given and the other two potentially fill a hole where we lack depth (assuming Crichton is earmarked as a 6). If not he also ticks Eddie’s project box of having a back rower in the centres.

    Wallabies 2023

He wouldn't be selected for this year - the context is that his contract with the Roosters expires at the end of this season. You'd think if he's a chance to play v the Lions in '25 he'd need to play rugby in '24 though.

Joseph is an exception. The out clauses in his Roosters contract are clearly to allow him to play rugby. He could probably play AFL too if wanted but he's mapped out his career to include rugby.
