As I understand it, a 'chop block' is where one player takes the guy up high while the other goes low, which is what happened in the clip you posted. The low tackle or block - cut-blocking - is legal but it does have some strigent rules around when it can happen and how.

I went with Pulu based on the fact that half-backs overall seem to scoring very low. No sense in spending up big for what is unlikely to be a game-changing score.

Thanks Bairdy. Yep....I'm a bit concerned that the Blues are playing the Crusaders but I've decided to play this one with my heart...LOL The transfers over the next 2 weekends get a few of the Rebel players in particular out.....I'm hoping ;)

I think there is a lot of scope to move up in the Leagues as well as somepeople startaying in the first week or two but lose interest or whatever and stop playing....

How much of a chance do you think Halai had of grounding the ball legally given the way the ball bounced, their dives, the fact Savea was on his shoulder etc? I think it was probably a pretty slim chance. If Halai's chance to ground the ball was fairly unlikely, how much better was Savea's...

I don't get what the problem is? From what I saw on the weekend, I think it definitely hurried some of the plays. Is available ball being left for long amounts of time in the ruck? If not - what's the issue??
