2012 Rugby Championship Round 3 Game 1 Australia vs South Africa - 8 Sep

Picked Wallabies by 5 on superbru. NZ by 14 against the Pumas.

2012 Rugby Championship Round 3 Game 2 NZ vs Argentina - 8 Sep

Bugger! Loud Noises! Panic! Someone find out where Tony Brown is! Call the northern hemisphere, extract Nick Evans! Oh well, I guess we don't lose much really. Cruden with another chance to prove himself. Barrett is fine as long as he doesn't have to tackle anyone. Rest of the changes are...

2012 Rugby Championship Round 3 Game 1 Australia vs South Africa - 8 Sep

Dare I say it? Go Wallabies! Resume your line up talk, nothing to see here. Line up actually looking better, how long since Shipperley has played though? That is the back line I picked for the first test actually. For this week I would have benched Barnes quite frankly, he was just terrible...

    2012 – ITM CUP - NZ's 3rd Tier Competition

If you look at his second try he is the man that turns the ball over prior, he ripped it out of someone's hands. He had a couple of other turnovers as well and looks hard working. Of course people will be more aware of him now, it'll be hard to replicate those performances here on in.

    2012 – ITM CUP - NZ's 3rd Tier Competition

Nothing outrageous, catch and pass sorta thing, didn't see much of him at 13. Shaun Treeby is playing 12 so he likes to hit the line himself, perhaps diminishing Ngatai's influence a bit. Standouts have been Treeby, Leiua and man of the match Ardie Savea.

    2012 – ITM CUP - NZ's 3rd Tier Competition

A couple of lopsided games today, (HT and Wellington dominating the Stags) big signs for some fresh talent though. Charles Piutau showing his bright future for Auckland and 18 y/o Ardie Savea carving it up for Wellington. Gordan Tietjens and the Sevens system continues to pump out the stars...

    2012 – ITM CUP - NZ's 3rd Tier Competition

Haha, don't worry bro, I'm on the other side of that coin. Been supporting Utd ever since the 1995 fa cup final, favourite colour was Red (and because my best mate supported them), growing up in NZ then it was either Liverpool or United. Same with the AB's since the 95 world cup, I was watching...

    2012 – ITM CUP - NZ's 3rd Tier Competition

;) No worries, if I drank over Otago rugby I'd be one liver short of having a liver. Tough times as a fan make the highs worth it. a.l.a if you were a City fan during last year's EPL. Also the reason I have no sympathy for the Wallaby Bledisloe drought, they'll get it back one day, (although...

    2012 – ITM CUP - NZ's 3rd Tier Competition

haha. To be honest, just between you and I, I don't think we'd even get that close. Nice to dream though. Besides Naki might be good for the win next week. Standings as of Saturday the 1st.

    2012 – ITM CUP - NZ's 3rd Tier Competition

Absolutely ridiculous, even the last penalty where the 8 tapped instead of kicked for the corner, just a lack of composure. The 8 who tapped it was Jordan Taufua (either 20 or 21 y/o), who is a promising player but perhaps significantly was part of this years u-20 crop, notorious for making poor...

Totally agreed, especially with a kicker capable of 50+ metres.

    2012 – ITM CUP - NZ's 3rd Tier Competition

Jeez. Second half starting just like the first, turnover ball, off to betham who is a live wire, round beauden barrett who can't tackle and an offload to quentin mcdonald who is another fatastic ball running hooker. The whole Tasman front row has scored if I'm not mistaken.

    2012 – ITM CUP - NZ's 3rd Tier Competition

If you haven't watched any of this match you're sure as hell missing out. A log match, with terrific ball runners and mediocre defences, props finishing like wingers and 7 tries in the first half so far.

    2012 – ITM CUP - NZ's 3rd Tier Competition

Ranfurley Shield on right now. Taranaki v Tasman. Taranaki will defend it against Tasman, then lose it to Hawke's Bay who will defend it against Bay of Plenty then lose it to Otago!! You heard it here first. Update: 3 try's in the first 8 minutes, absolute cracker opening.

    2012 – ITM CUP - NZ's 3rd Tier Competition

Don't worry if you missed AK (Andrew Kellaway) v CANT. What a boring bloody affair. Canterbury still has a license to infringe at will, so they just endlessly disrupt the opposition ball then just kick it out of their half and wait for mistakes. So slow you could watch the goal posts grow.

    2012 – ITM CUP - NZ's 3rd Tier Competition

Anybody watch Wellington v Hawke's Bay yesterday? Was a cracker I thought with plenty of highlights, Hika Elliot's run and offload just being one. Auckland v Canterbury today, hope they belt each other ;).

Stuff the scrum coach. Let's get a bloody kicking and catching coach

Should have tried to take back Mick Byrne. I'm sure the ARU could coff up more money than the Auckland Union. If need be you could probably pay your players less and invest it elsewhere. ^^^lol, as above. Would have been worth it.
