2013 Waratahs under Cheika - Report Card

You are better off asking him IS

    Waratahs V Reds July 13 2013

Best thing Walsh did all game. I am glad he had the sense to see that he stuffed up with the card and had the sense to see that what a second card would do unjustly.

    Brumbies vs Cheetahs Prelim 2

Canberra is friggin cold but that Canberra stadium is just plain freezing. The bastard who designed that joint is a sadist.

    Rebels 2013

If anything I think the Rebels are learning from the Force's mistakes in that you have to build a strong team rather than buy one. The Rebels played some of their most committed rugby without Beale or JOC (James O'Connor) and that is compelling. Personally I think they are moving in the right direction by...

2013 Waratahs under Cheika - Report Card

The bloke has been a breath of fresh air. This year has been about taking a group of players he didn't pick and changing their default attitude to how to play the game. He has done a great job actually and next year when he has what he has his own cattle, the rest of the comp should watch...

Wallabies Squad - the Link Era

The lock that continues to impress me is Sam Carter. I wouldn't class him as fashionable but he is a workhorse and damn effective. He does the whole range of things you would require of a lock and he does them well.

    Battle for the Spoon!

I feel a bit sorry that the schoolboys down the bottom of the South Island didn't get it. I thought Jamie Joseph put his best foot forward (and the other in his mouth) to claim the prize.

    Crusaders v Reds Prelim 1

Drop Butler for Samo and I think you have nailed it. Also swap Ant and Taps.

    Waratahs V Reds July 13 2013

We had a THP at our club that was our kicker. Used the old toe breaker and could kick anywhere within 60 meters out. Bloody accurate too.

    Waratahs V Reds July 13 2013

Our locks are why we won that game including Samo when he came on. I thought they were all excellent. Saia, Slipper and Holmes all had good games also and Davies was getting really involved before the injury.

    Rebels v Highlanders Rd 20

Under Deans I think Higgers would have locked in the six ahead of Mowen though Palu retained. It would have been justified on experience rightly or wrongly. Moving into the era of the new coach I think Palu will be put out to pasture. No disrespect meant to him though I see Link thinking...

    Force vs Brumbies, Round 20

I thought they had blown it by losing but on second thoughts the last thing they need is a week off.

    Rebels 2014

The Rebels look to have a bloody good back row in 2014.

    For Sale: One Test 10

Open the article again and tell me that the author and Moore in the below picture are not twins. :)

    Rebels v Highlanders Rd 20

Palu out to pasture and Mowen to eight. Then debate who fills the six position.

    Blues v Chiefs Round 20 2013

Good attitude from him me thinks.

    Force vs Brumbies, Round 20

Brumbies should look on the up side. If this happened a week later, you would be making mad Monday plans. Quite frankly they looked arrogant and were meant to just come West and collect the points as it was a mere formality. It doesn't work that way as the Reds have learnt in the past also...

Southern Kings OUT of Super Rugby next year

This is turning into a bitchy thread. I think we have seen one of the most competitive super rugby seasons ever. 2 sides from each conference in the finals is a fair indication also. The SA conference has been great this year. I have been following the Cheetahs all the way through and...

Knocking up a piece for this thread HJ. Just want to gather a bit more info on the club.

Great fight back. Gareth Delve. What a top bloke. He has just been sensational for the last three years. An absolute brilliant representative of the game in how he conducts himself. He has my respect by the tonne and I am sure I'm not the only one. Best of luck in the future and cheers...
