    Melbourne Rebels 2011

It's things like that show why Freier was such a good signing. Even if he hasn't got onto the park just yet, his community work has been absolutely immense. I hope they keep him on in some sort of coaching capacity when he retires.

    Reds vs Rebels - 2011R05

I never thought I'd see the day Sir Stirling was compared to Tom Carter :(

    Melbourne Rebels 2011

Huxley, Cipriani and Vuna lead the competition for missed tackles. Pathetic.

    Reds vs Rebels - 2011R05

Not a whole lot of choice to be honest, we're very, very thin with inside backs. Besides, Huxley has missed the most tackles in the entire competition - I didn't fancy seeing Digby running at him and Cipriani all day long. Brings Taumoepeau in as well, makes it a much quicker backline.

Good to see Delve pulled through, also glad Rooney isn't in the XV. I quite like the look of that backline, actually some decent speed there - Gerrard is an absolutely massive loss though.

We're going to get rolled here.

    Wk 4 Wallabies

Surely there was someone better than Huxley. There has to have been.

    Rebels vs Sharks - 2011R04

This! Was a completely ridiculous headline - especially when you think about Huxley's contribution.

    Brumbies v. Crusaders - 2011R04

Alright, I'll pay that, he looked a bit limited though? Does he actually have a step on him, or does he just like running straight into people? Think against the really top teams he'll get cut down fairly easy.

    Brumbies v. Crusaders - 2011R04

Ita Vaea and Colby Fainga'a are the only two who came out of that with any credibility at all.

    Wallabies world cup squad selection

If we do get struck down with injuries, could end up with some interesting selections. Think in the forwards, a second string pack could look something like 1. Alexander 2. Moore 3. Palmer 4. Douglas 5. Simmonds 6. McCalman 7. Hodgson 8. Vaea We're not without options...

    Wallabies world cup squad selection

The WC backline will be: 9. Genia 10. Cooper 12. Barnes 13. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) 11. Mitchell 14. JOC (James O'Connor) 15. Beale If Ioane gets unbroken then I can see things starting to shuffle around. I also dig what Konze (I think) was saying earlier, about horses for courses. Obviously it's not always applicable, but if...

    Wallabies world cup squad selection

I reckon Mitch Inman would be more than useful at 12. Massive unit, don't think he's quite got the speed to play 13 at international level.

    Wallabies world cup squad selection

    Cooper Vuna. Awesome call.

    Wallabies world cup squad selection

If he keeps playing like this, I wouldn't mind seeing Ita Vaea as a bolter.

    Chiefs vs. Rebels - 2011R03

Al Campbell has improved the lineout every time he's come on, probably been our best lock actually. Wish they'd give Luke Jones a shot off the bench though. Starting to get well excited for this now!
