    Reds 2018

Yeap - wasn't having a dig at you, your post was just the last one I saw on the matter so I quoted your text and added my $0.02 on the topic.

    Ballymore Redevelopment

Well they've certainly got one thing right, the shit-show that is getting to and from Ballymore is a widely different experience to Suncorp! I'm at a loss why any new A-League team doesn't spend the cash on developing Perry Park. It's situated between the ICB, two main roads, a train station...

    Reds 2018

I always wonder why people expect young props to be dominate, front rowers have constantly been shown to hit the prime later in their career because of the time it takes to develop in the dark arts. Thinking back, I can't remember too many 'world class' props that were running around under the...

While I don't think he's entirely blameless, I do wonder why Stiles is the one copping all the blame while Jason Gilmore and the lack of on field leadership flies under the radar. Just from a high level point of view, we are conceding 35 points a game. In what world is that acceptable and why...

Reds vs Waratahs - 29th April RD 10

No wonder it's not working, look at all the rope on the ground, absolutely no-one is willing to pick up the slack! So if anything, that picture aptly sums up the Tahs season.

Samu still retains the big C, very interesting! Ready's fall from grace continues, from the Wallaby's to playing club competition! Have to admit, I'm glad Mafi gets another crack, he's enthusiasmwas fantastic to see from a forward wearing a red jersey for once!

While Gill is a game winner in himself, I thought Gunn showed enough last year to showcase he's got the talent and we should see what he's capable of. To be honest, I wouldn't be wanting to spend the extra cash on a superstar (i.e. Gill and Genia) rather I'd be using it for attracting a higher...

To be fair, I'm not terribly fussed at this. If we got Genia back next year and his knees held up, it'd only be a band-aid fix for our problems. Tuttle's performances this year suggest the problem isn't really with our 9 and the cash Genia would demand, would cause other gaping holes not to be...

2017 TV ratings and crowd figures

Sounds like a lot of hot air coming out of OzTAM's mouth. Flick them a copy of the 2010 Telstra Federal Court decision which ruled against databases being protected by copyright.

The Lions game felt very similar to what we saw in 09/10, the kids back then threw the ball around a lot and tried to think outside the box. Most of the time it didn't quite come off, but it made for entertaining matches. It wasn't until 10/11 did we finally see the benefits this style of rugby...

Interesting addition they've added to Suncorp, it's not a smoking area by any chance? Great idea, but it'll be ruined if people are able to light up in there as it's absolutely tiny.

    Rnd 8: Reds v Kings

    Sighhhhhhhhh absolutely useless defensive effort.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

What's stopping SANZAAR from making a new "Super Super Rugby" next year where teams need to re-apply for a license? Being somewhat of a decade or so too young, I could be totally wrong on how it all transpired, but didn't Packer do this with the Cricket and then it also occurred in Rugby...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I'd be interested to know what was said behind closed doors from the players. The Force have had a HUGE problem attracting both talent and coaching staff over there. Established players on the East coast have to do a massive lift and shift of their family and life to play in Perth. That's also...

    Round 6: Reds v. Hurricanes, April 1st

Couldn't care about his age, if he's good enough it doesn't matter if he's 18 or 28. He'll be rusty, but that's expected from a kid. Sam Lane was fairly handy for those two or three matches we had him before he did his ACL. Hopefully this isn't a repeat of 2012!

Dunno why you blokes are putting fancy shit on your hands to catch a ball. I'd just catch the damn thing and any time I dropped it, I blamed the guy who put it too high, too far in front, behind me or put too much heat on the pop aka doing a 'Genia'.

    Round 6: Reds v. Hurricanes, April 1st

Seeing how this will be nothing short of a blood bath, it'd be nice if the QRU softened the blow to the fans by putting on a "Taco or Pizza night" for the kids, while a Buy 1 Get 3, rumbos for those over 18 would probably do it the trick.

Round 5 - Jaguares v Reds, Jose Amalfitani Stadium, Sunday 26 March @ 7:40am AEST

Ahhhhh, the annual 'Simmons Dropped from squad" is here. Feels like it's arrived a month or two earlier than normal, but I guess it's a global warming thing.

If Jake does go down early on, it wouldn't surprise me if Frisby moves to 10 and Tuttle to 9. Wouldn't be the first time we've relied on the double halfback pairing when our Flyhalf stocks were busted!

From the Orthopods I know in this area it's a 6 month recovery timeframe for a general athlete. As Slipper is a prop who has more load on that area it could be worthwhile writing the spring tour off and focus on 2018.
