    Where to for Super Rugby?

Ta, had absolutely no idea where they were based. Always thought the kiwis hosted them.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

So what's the gameplan here? RWA/WF get an injunction about the ARU's decision being incorrect. In the mean time, SANZAAR proceed with drafting a schedule for next season without the Western Force who I can't imagine care what an Australian court has to say?

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Someone should tell the Teams about AirBnB, I'm sure the locals will be thrilled to host some of the players and coaches. Re Flights, maybe some of the juniors can replace the Stewardesses on the flight? There's plenty of room to cut costs, the ARU/Clubs need to get creative!

    Reds 2018

Did anyone hear about Connolly and the Reds being in court? I had absolutely no idea until FoxSports recommended me a story this afternoon. https://www.foxsports.com.au/rugby/former-wallabies-coach-john-connolly-sues-queensland-reds-over-2015-sacking/news-story/7135195543226779ef4c7631c5b7d73b

    Where to for Super Rugby?

End of the week? Going by the past where 48-72 hours results in months, we'll be lucky to know by Christmas!

    Where to for Super Rugby?

It wouldn't be the first time an Aussie Billionaire starts up his own competition.

Hate to say it, but I'd rather then $200-300k extra that Genia would want over Frisby would be better saved and spent on attracting a more experienced assistant coach. Will's knees only have so many more games in them before going bang. You'd get a more better return getting a defensive coach...

    Reds 2018

I'd chalk it up to some of this lack of passion due to the loss of characters in the game. No side has heroes to cheer for or villians to scream at because the game (not just Rugby, but every sport) has become so monetised that clubs are worried about bad press costing them lucrative sponsorship...

100% agree, if anything the fact he kept getting picked when it was clear his form was deteriorating is a sign of the gulf development between He, TPN and the rest of our Hookers. Its not like Squeak and TPN suddenly got old overnight, but we have barely seen younger Hookers actively developed...

    Reds 2017

I don't think the fans care enough anymore to be frank. In the last decade we've gone through two troughs of being shit and a brief glimpse of excellence. The same issues we identified and face in 2007-2008/9 came back in 2015-2017 and still nothing is being done to address them. So quite...

    The Wallabies Thread

The Brumbies scored 315 points to the Force's 313 and 41 tries to 36. Or in other words, the Brumbies only got one extra try compared to the Force every three games. For a team that had the Australian attack coach as their HC, I wouldn't be suggesting the the Brumbies performed any better than...

    The Wallabies Thread

As this year is pretty much a write off, I'm happy to see something new/different tried at 10. However, in saying that, the last time I remembered Beale playing in the 10 role, he had a horrible tendency to crab and run at an angle, rather than taking the ball to the line and distributing. That...

If Lilo comes back to play Wallabies it will be one of the greatest sporting triumphs. Even if he plays one match he'll have 1 more yellow jersey than Armstrong!

    The new Wallaby jersey

Only problem I have with this years jersey is the Aboriginal flag being overlayed on the pattern on the sleeve. I'd much rather the flag stand by itself than have 4 different colours which clash. It reminds me of the St George logo that used to be on the white backing on a Reds jersey. It just...

We're starting to get into Deans levels of confusion now. What type of impact was Hanigan having during the June matches? Do smaller guys get to have less of an impact than the bigger guys?

    Reds 2018

No wonder we play such uninspiring rugby when the front office thinks their revolutionary plans involving signing Dick Graham 2.0.

    Reds 2018

Hopefully the Reds put a clause in his contract that for every Yellow or Red Card he gets, he's required to repay X amount of dollars.

2017 TV ratings and crowd figures

I've always liked the twilight/dusk timeslot, game kicks off 4:30-5:30pm and done around 6:30-7:30pm. Plenty of time for a drink and dinner afterwards. But that's because I get up early in the mornings and hate the whole idea that Origin has of a kick off at 8:30 - 9!!!

What's stopping every other franchise sending a contract their way? It's not like it hasn't stopped them before.... Having 3-4 young locks isn't that big of a deal, especially when 2 of them are going to be in the match day 23. Then you'll have an injury during the season to one or two of the...
