    NSW AAGPS 2018

As 2018 rugby has now finished, I'll take the liberty of providing the Athletics results from Saturday, plus a full year overview of all AAGPS competitions for those who may be interested. Athletics Senior: Scots, Kings, New, Joeys, View, High, Shore, Grammar & TAS Inter: Kings, View...

    NSW AAGPS 2019

Those Scots supporters have probably been there all day for the age group games as with the exception of 14s, everything at Stanmore is played onsite. Different situation at Scots where the age groups are all offsite.

Hope you don't suffer any altitiude sickness up on that high horse

    RC4 - Australia v Argentina

Well, if my terminology is being corrected, I think I have the right to point out (pedantically or otherwise) the correct use of a term.

    RC4 - Australia v Argentina

    That's actually not a system, it's a tactic.
  6. Quick Hands

    RC4 - Australia v Argentina

There doesn't seem to be any particular system evident.

Don't think you can deliberately knock it forward and catch it. I think in fact that the law was brought in because Dally Messenger used to knock or throw the ball over his opponents head and regather.

In fact, you're the first nominee for the newest addition to G&GR - the Hyperbowl Award;)

    NSW AAGPS 2019

Hmm, this sounds like a serious exaggeration. Bellvue Hill is the only away game that I didn't stay and watch the firsts and there were a reasonable number of Newington boys and parents who do the same most weeks. The other 5 GPS schools all have upwards of 200 boarders who have to stay and...

    The Rugby Championship 2018

For sheer chutzpah, you have to give it to the Kiwi press "All Blacks refuse to blame kicking or referee Nigel Owens for shock defeat to Springboks" https://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/rugby/107115430/all-blacks-refuse-to-blame-kicking-or-referee-nigel-owens-for-shock-defeat-to-springboks

    The Rugby Championship 2018

Does Jacinda still give out knighthoods? If so, surely Sir Nigel Owen, knight of the most excellent order of New Zealand for services to All Black rugby is way overdue?

It will probably hold until RWC 2019. Then i'm predicting/hoping for a seismic explosion across the professional game, which hopefully re-establishes its links with the amateur levels of the game. A big part of this is the administration being swept aside at French Revolution level.

You see, not every Waratah supporter is against you.;)

    RC4 - Australia v Argentina

I'd like to think that I don't advocate selections based on which super side guys play for. People can judge me on that at their leisure. He hasn't really ever been given the chance to cement a spot at 10 for the Wallabies. When he first came into the team he was given two tests - both...

The rest of the season equates to three games;)

    RC4 - Australia v Argentina

He's actually listed on their website as a flyhalf. If he was to play at 12 he'd be outside Joe Ford - a significantly better 10 than either Foley or Beale. https://www.leicestertigers.com/team/senior
  17. Quick Hands

    RC4 - Australia v Argentina

You've stolen my thunder here BR. You forget the fact that his defence is also miles better than either Beale or Foley and thus he can defend at 10 without needing to be hidden in the tram tracks at lineout time.
  18. Quick Hands

    RC4 - Australia v Argentina

Well, you're sitting in an armchair just like mine. You're twisting and distorting and argument to suit your own view. Beale has played more than enough professional rugby at 10 for everyone to know what he can do in that role. His past two games have followed a similar pattern. He's been...
  19. Quick Hands

    RC4 - Australia v Argentina

Beale in the last two games has been no different from Beale in every other game he's played at 10. It was never going to work. To'omua needs game time to settle into the role.
  20. Quick Hands

    RC4 - Australia v Argentina

To'omua has to start at 10 for the rest of the season
