    The hidden Truth .

Sorry, vidiot, I may not have had the full picture. Are you implying that gladiator was in some way responsible for Gits getting on the wacky baccy prior to the game? Interesting suggestion, which could perhaps account for his disorientation last week when he almost swan dived over the...

    The hidden Truth .

I thought it was forum protocol not to savage a brand new member. If not I think it should be. gladiator has been with us for all of four days and this is the first time he has posted. Let's cut the new bloke a bit of slack.

    Rugby - not set pieces

Whatever faults Burgo may occasionally display, mark, I don't think you could ever accuse him of showing "no interest in a game". A further hint. Recall that I said:

    Brumbies v. Crusaders - 2011R04

I think we are seeing the emergence of a genuine superstar. His power and speed are awesome.

    Rugby - not set pieces

No cigar, Ruggo, but you're a lot closer to the money than some of the other attempts. The criticism came from a neighbouring club who thought that the player had long standing links with their geographical area.

    Rugby - not set pieces

Some of them are getting very antsy, Hawko, aren't they? As I understand it the nickname was bestowed by members of a club who were filthy that the player had signed for a neighbouring club instead of theirs.

    Rugby - not set pieces

Bit of decorum, Gagger, or I'll have to report you to the head moderator. As I understand it the nickname derives from club rugby not professional.

    Rugby - not set pieces

Based on my reaction to the guesses so far 8 of the 22 players from last week have been eliminated. There are only 14 live possibilities - or in the case of the player so-named not-so-live.

    Rugby - not set pieces

Try to keep up, Gagger. What I said above was: "The mistake you may be making is to assume that the player was given the nickname because of the Crusaders game. It's been around much longer than that."

    Rugby - not set pieces

Both wrong according to my mail. The mistake you may be making is to assume that the player was given the nickname because of the Crusaders game. It's been around much longer than that.

ACT 1st Grade Vs Sydney 1st grade

You might have the chance to get some enlightenment on this tomorrow. Sydney Uni is bringing three Grades plus First Colts down to play Tuggeranong Valley in trials. Uni is missing all their Super 15 players but they will also be absent for most of the Shute Shield. You can't read much into...

    Australian Rugby Team's Biggest Liability

It's the spirit of the times, Gagger, old son. The unwashed are rising up against their tyrannical rulers: Zine El Abidine Ben Ali in Tunisia Hosni Mubarak in Egypt Muammar Gaddafi in Libya Gagger in G&GR I'd advise you to go into exile but England in March must feel like you've...

    Brumby Runner Trials

The perils of irony, territorian. The more subtle you are the more people misread you.

    Classic Bledisloe Match for Charity

    "ept" - clever coinage, MM.

    Shute Shield 2011

Let me walk you through it, ht. What I said was: it will be a major challenge to stay in touch, especially with the heavy recruitment and more intensive training being done by some other clubs. My reference to "heavy recruitment" and "more intensive training" was in relation to what "some...

    Classic Bledisloe Match for Charity

I left myself open for attack, ignoring how many Golden Oldies players would be members here.

I'll concede, daz. But I might actually pay to watch that.

    Force vs Sharks - 2011R03

I do not agree with your interpretation of 10.4(j), Shiggins. There is much more involved than just the tackler's feet leaving the ground:

    Force vs Sharks - 2011R03

Beautifully expressed, Blue. No arguments from me.

    Classic Bledisloe Match for Charity

I assume that's because people are feeling charitable, which is admirable. You surely wouldn't go to it to watch good rugby. It's hard to think of another sport where retired blokes look more inept and uncoordinated than rugby. Any Golden Oldies tournament is testament to that.
