I think that's the local population. He's basically saying that lots of people in SA come out and support live rugby, which does not happen on the same level in Australia, all the while totally ignoring the huge differences in the sporting landscape.

Unfortunately this is correct. The Australian trait of allowing NZ teams to join our domestic comps (see: league, netball, soccer) is unlikely to be reciprocated.

Cooper and Beale may be dills occasionally, but they have got nothing on O'Connor. He seemingly lives for snapback hats, cheering for woman beating sports stars, his bachelor of the year profile and flirting with every 15 year old girl who tweets him.
