    Bledisloe 2 2023 @ Dunedin 12:35PM Sat 5 Aug

In Eddie's post-match with Stan, Justin Harrison suggested he should be very happy with the forward pack - Eddie seemed to disagree, and made particular mention of the ineffective mauling. Changes, they are a coming.

He didn't, but my assumption would be ~2018/19 Edit: very wrong

This is the level of pettiness I yearn for. Coming through with the receipts

    Wallabies 2023

To use Tupou as a reference for a big front rower, his turnaround was ~7-8mo, but that was definitely on the quicker end of the scale

Wallabies 2023 World Cup Positivity Thread

Inspired by @RugbyReg's post about Eddie not being able to shut up - even with the losses, I've seen more news coverage about the Wallabies over the past months than there's been in years! Can only be great for eyes on the World Cup.

Even when we the pack had us going forward, the backline just didn't look threatening imo. That isn't solely on Kerevi, but I do feel he can limit our attacking options at times - particularly when he isn't breaking the defensive line like we know he can.

Fuck somehow I forgot about Flook - get him back in the mix immediately. The JOC (James O'Connor) injury also slipped my mind - do we know what it is? Re: Paisami - par for the course this year for him really.

While Kerevi probably hasn't put in a 'droppable' performance, even if off the pace, I wouldn't mind seeing someone else at 12 this week. Be it Foketi, Paisami, or even O'Connor, I think we need more attacking flexibility in the backline to unlock our firepower outside. Kerevi led the number of...

You literally said Carter "isn't doing a ten's main duty" in kicking to the posts if Lonergan takes over. All that's needed is a balanced skillset across the backline, which we didn't really have last night imo - it doesn't all fall on the 10. Carter showed last night that his kicking is...

Which law says the 10 has to be the place kicker?

    Wallabies 2023

Really feeling for 7As (Allan Ala'alatoa) this morning. Four achilles injuries for the Wallabies in under 12mo is bloody bizarre

Commentators were saying it with some certainty - not sure if they had inside word

As a positive, it's nice to (mostly) not be talking about the Wallabies' discipline. Not often we're on the favourable side of the penalty count against NZ.
