Trial: Waratahs v Chiefs @ Campbelltown, Friday 6 February 2015

Singsong TV claim its possible to do through the house Wifi. Not with their current set-up. A family member is an IT genius with a high end computer job and he couldn't make his work. He put us on to Chromecast.

Trial: Waratahs v Chiefs @ Campbelltown, Friday 6 February 2015

After spending hours trying to link our brand new TV (market leading brand) to my laptop I bought a chromecast. Its the epitome of plug and play - you'll have no problems. Awesome piece of technology.

    Fantasy Rugby 2015

Benaud must be some sort of computer genius to have won. I got locked out of it numerous times and couldn't get back in. The logic of using the site and making team changes was a total mystery; and the site service staff never once replied to my messages. I vote for Fox.

    Los Jaguares 2016

Depending on selection policies that might be optimum. Some coaches may have two back-ups getting 10-15 minutes every second game while starting with the same player every game.

    REBELS v HIGHLANDERS - Harlequins RC 5th Feb @6:30pm

If you have to play the Crusaders away then round one is the best time, round two is next best and it gets worse from there. It was round 18 when the Waratahs had 96 points put on them, and that was in a year when they were good enough to make the semi's. Count yourselves very lucky, the...

    Aussie Player Exodus

I don't think Genia's cover defence was ever as good as Phipps' was last year. Some of his cover tackles were mercurial. Kept the Tahs in the final with his double plus some real scorchers in the tests. Genia does have a better catching/kicking game in the backfield; though it has gone...

    Los Jaguares 2016

This issue is likely to worry our SA brethren much more than us. If the Argies do start winning their conference we'll be able to hear the screams from here without the aid of amplifiers. And just imagine if they top the table and get the home semi/final. Everyone will be up in arms...

Is Section Paloise in D2? If so, he'll be punching way below his weight classification.

    Waratahs 2015

It appears Hodgo is out with hamstring problems for up to 12 weeks. I think their will be a collective sigh of relief down at Tah HQ. Round 1 is looking like a real banana-skin game to me and that news made it just a little bit easier.

Reds v Rebels 31 Jan in Cairns

These are trials. Let's wait till the season begins before we write them off.

    2015 Super Teams - Pre-season matches

They're never any good till round 5. They've got a pretty easy early draw this year, so they might cobble together a few wins but then they'll come home with a wet sail for the semi's. Should be a great game against the Waratahs, I'm already salivating.

    2015 Super Teams - Pre-season matches

Good luck with that. The government here wouldn't even put up money for the Asian Cup football despite already having a successful A-league team here and a bucket-load of UK boat people who follow football closely. The government says "if it ain't AFL, forget it!"

Trial: Waratahs vs Three Shute Teams

As there will be no TV and the quality of rugby reporting elsewhere is so dismal, all Waratah attendees are requested to provide match reports and comments in this thread. "NSW expects this day that every man (and woman) will do their duty."

    Waratahs 2016

So, if you can believe the hype, the SCG has given up a fistful of dollars for the right to use the SFS. Amazing how attitudes change when there's a little bit of competition in the market.

    Six Nations 2015

But....they are very light on for a quality experienced 10. Thanks to the coaches hatred of Trinh Duc their best 10 isn't there. And there are only nine backs named which means they will be going in with a 6:2 bench split. If they pick up a training injury they will have to bring someone into...

    Reds 2015

Does anyone else feel as worried as I do about our premier lock going into a WC year with an injury that will be managed week-to-week? I know it would be a blow to a Reds team that has run over the injury Chinaman (again) but he needs to either be in surgery or off the park till he's 100%. The...

    Waratahs 2015

My opinion of Holloway has changed since I saw him in the NRC. Prior to that I thought he was a potential 6/8 but nothing more and definitely a lightweight. But he was very dynamic in that comp and left a lot of his opposition in a heap and I thought then that he could step up into a jumping...

    Waratahs 2015

For someone who usually beats a couple of defenders before he gets taken down this is just a little bit too rich. I know the Brumbies can't tackle to save their lives (ha ha) but in the first Super game last year he basically ran through more than half the team to score. I'll be glad when the...

    Aussie Player Exodus

I worked in NZ for several years and I bumped into a number of former All Blacks during that time - some good guys, some not. In business however being a former AB opens all sorts of doors and unless you are a real dick that advantage stays for life. Socially its the same. Its just not the...

    Wallaby Locks

I hear what you're saying, but why are Etsebeth and Rettallic so good? They are still a few years shy of that mark. There's more to it than just age, IMO its all about the way players are coached to play in Australia. People keep telling them that they only have to get parity in the set piece...
