    Reds vs Brumbies, 2011R16

Apart from the having to play a finals series with no openside flanker in the squad.

    Bulls vs Waratahs, 2011R16

I'd love to see the tahs come away with 5 points but it will take a radical increase in the execution of basic skills if they are to pull it off. Wonder if hicky will give link a call and ask him for some pointers on successfully beating the bulls.

    Reds 2011

If they dont get gill back they have to pick from either: Tomiki, Coridas, Luafutu or schatz. However if I was link I would be doing what vidiot suggested: The bloke hardly ever plays a bad game, and im more than sure that with the reds bandwagon the way it is at the moment some businessman...

    Just like the 7's eh?

    Wallabies Trinations Squad

With the super rugby starting to die down, international season is quick approaching. Deans and co. only have a few more weeks to make up their minds about the squad for this years shortened tri nations series. The competition provides a litmus test before the world cup to check if certain...

    Waratahs 2012

Borders are less important yes, but a continued failure to produce quality players in crucial positions is very worrying for australian rugby. Professionalism is plugging the gaps, but get a few injuries and ship starts leaking. The waratahs can't expect to win the trophy until they fix this...

IRB U/20 Tournament and Oz Squad

They may not be as strong, but financially these games are crucial to securing a home semi, and the chance at the home final. Speed to the breakdown is crucial to the reds gameplan, and that is exactly what gill would provide. The ARU would be incredibly stupid to send him to Italy.

IRB U/20 Tournament and Oz Squad

And before you bring up kingston, I think he should have stayed at home as well, provided the tahs needed him (and made the finals).

IRB U/20 Tournament and Oz Squad

I agree whole heartedly. Also take into account the fact we already have 2 very able opensides in Fiangaa and hooper, as well as quirk who has played open side at super rugby level. The other provinces can whinge about it all they like. But at the end of the day, if the ball was in their court...

    Waratahs 2012

Yes, something WAS systematically wrong. I don't know if you watched this afternoons game, but there is a lot less wrong with Queensland rugby today than there was a couple of years ago. Not just on the field either.

    Reds v. Crusaders, May 29th, Suncorp - 2011R15

Simply amazing game. Apart from the set piece the reds forwards performance was outstanding, back row in particular. On form they should all be wearing gold come tri-nations time, Robinson a very able backup to the 'cock. Great to see some real depth in australian rugby. I thought the last...

    Waratahs 2012

They were all queenslanders originally. Point I am trying to make is that nsw has more players and the closest thing australia has to 3rd tier in the shute shield, yet continually fail to produce a enough quality backs to feed their professional team. Something is systematically wrong with the...

    Sharks v. Tahs - 2011R15

We practised it as well, but it was always more around the stomach area and we use to roll them sideways.

    Waratahs 2012

Quade came on his own accord. And even if he had never come, there was Barnes, JOC (James O'Connor), Lucas, Kingi, To'omua. As opposed to what, Halangahu..... And that's just the inside backs.

    QLD GPS Rugby 2011

Sad day for terrace rugby. Scholarship debate aside, the rugby program is not what it should be and the cattle just isnt there at the moment.

    Waratahs 2012

How about you stop relying on queenslanders for any sort of coherent back-line play. Is there really no one in the "rugby capital of australia" capable of playing 10 at super rugby level...
