    Rebels 2017

Due to my Beer consumption that evening, my memory is a little hazy. I do recall Phipps, then Stirlo scoring Tries within a few minutes up at the northern end. Like most Rebels fans, I completely lost my shit after that win.

2017 draw is out. 2 game saffa tour. We play the Reds and Force only once. We could break our SA duck against the Kings. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

EOYT 2016 - Possibles, probables and general banter

Like the option of Ready as a spare rake. I'd consider Smith as the 5th prop. Mainly because he can play both 1 and 3. Not sure of AA will be right for the tour. If we're talking dirt-track selections, why not Meehan? Has played well at 9 for the Rebs, and he's doing fairly nicely at 10...

I like this one too. Despite all of Colby's talents, think he will struggle to ursurp Jordy from the starting side. He's killing it for the Rising.

Don't try them all at once, otherwise you're likely to end up just like me.

NRC Rnd 3: NSW Country v Melbourne Rising

Think it was against the Rising in the semi-final? I do remember it was a televised match because the commentator blew up about it, much like Cam Shepherd did on Sunday.

NRC Rnd 3: NSW Country v Melbourne Rising

Bloody close game in the end. Thought Figg and Hanigan were the best for the Eagles. English and Jeffries came to life in that second half. Was always going to be tough to win, but thought they did well. Is Sam Figg qualified for OZ BaaBaas?

    Lovely bellringer from Big Red.

NRC Rnd 3: NSW Country v Melbourne Rising

Cam Shepherd "he was never going for that". Of course he wasn't, he wasn't even looking at the bloody ball.

Scrum is just terrible today. Has to be cheese time soon.

Paddy Ryan with elbows pointing down, but milks the penalty.

Three late changes to the Rising. Little Red and Sefa the big losses. Engo to captain the side.

I'm still trying to work out what the pushing and shoving was all about after that hit. Seemed like a dick measuring contest, basically. That matched filled in nicely for a Saturday night Rugby (Loig) filler. Glad the Storm stuck it to Gallen, Fifita et al.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I could watch that or hours. And hours. And again. But this, from the weekend's match against the boys form the Shire. Talk about great Deefense.

NRC Rnd 2: Melbourne Rising vs Queensland Country

I think they've named a non Wallaby player team, then saw that other teams were naming Wallaby players, then revised their team to include Wallaby players. The first one was name fairly early in the day IIRC. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

NRC Rnd 2: Melbourne Rising vs Queensland Country

So the mystery of the missing Wallabies has been solved. Farmer Tobes, Chibba and Lopeti are in the run-on side. Alex Tooles, who I thought did a good job last weekend, is also in the starting 15. Considering that QC (Quade Cooper) are playing their Wallabies, this change is unsurprising. Still no news...

Same for me. I'm a supporter of Rugby in Victoria, through good and bad. The fact I get to enjoy high-quality Rugby for about 12 weeks every year (excluding Wallabies test matches) is just fantastic.
