Bledisloe 1 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, ANZ Stadium, Sydney, 8:05pm

The essence of this post is truly disturbing.

He picked a flyhalf. A flyhalf should be able to kick. Why the fuck do so many of the Australian players not have a handle of the basics? Is it RUPA?

Re-read what I said. It's on Foley to fix up his kicking game. Ive fucking had it reading year in, year out how the coaches aren't any good when the same players have the same deficiencies no matter what coach they have. It's not the coach - these players clearly do not look at their own...

Bledisloe 1 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, ANZ Stadium, Sydney, 8:05pm

Foley is a flyhalf - why can't he play a territory game. It's entirely on him to have the skill set for his position. Has he never contemplated hiring a kicking coach himself in order to improve that part of his game? Its entirely in Foley - he's the guy on the field.

This is not about nz being super awesome. This is about the utter shite that the Australian players are dishing up. The execution of these players is ridiculously poor. It's not the coach. At what point do these "professional athletes" take some ownership and do some fucking homework on their...

I bet you wouldn't, and neither would I. That doesn't even warrant further discussion.

    Reds 2017

Oh ffs. What exactly are these negatives that none of the guys at ballymore have? A win percentage that's just too damn high maybe? Sure lets just go with guys that we have no fucking clue will go ok at the next (two or three) levels up instead. I'm done with this topic - you wont change my...

And if you dismiss Blackadder successful coaching on the basis of his district, then you can also dismiss stiles successful NRC coaching on the basis of the Brisbane city team blatant reds stacking.

and that's what I'm talking about... Make any excuse for dissing a coaching team that has not only vast experience at super rugby level, but also significant success in favour of: minimal super rugby experience and zero super rugby success. Who are the Reds coaching staff going to be learning...

    Reds 2017

Bright futures? Yes. Ready for super rugby now? Maybe, maybe not. There are some very talented coaching staff that were named in the selection process that were passed over in favour of locals. given the history of the place, the balance of probabilities indicates the same thought processes...

No. I was referring to the assistants being local. Keep going back and you would see this.

I disagree with so many points here... The crusaders don't need an adjustment year. All teams have injuries. Cruden has had several and a star player - the chiefs still perform. How many flyhalfs did we play through in 2012? We still went OK because Link was another level of coach. The...

there is no excuse for a rugby province like the reds not vying for the finals every year. If they arent then something is wrong. Your pass mark is too low.

    Reds 2017

Link had a history of success with the clubs he was involved in, so there's good evidence he wasn't picked just on mate ship. Coaching a super rugby franchise can and should attract coaches that are on a career progression to international level but they should be near enough to their goals -...

They are just picking their mates, and are ignoring others that are more qualified. Running a ruse with terms such as "global search" is just bullshit if the outcome is the same every time. That's the mistake. It hasn't worked before, and to keep doing it is flawed logic. The QRU do a lot of...

twas it's absolutely painful the way some of you completely ignore the same mistakes being made time and again as if each instance is an isolated case. The man management department is not where you save your bucks. That is business fact.

    Reds 2017

^^^^ as I said......... The QRU haven't learned anything.
  18. gel

    Reds 2017

Because the QRU clearly are not casting a wider net, and therefore they are excluding better qualified staff.

It's not picking on merit. It's insular, and is unlikely to yield success.
