Gee the “I was right!” chest beating gets old quickly…

After a torrid few years of significant injuries, sustained during both Wallabies and Super, you'd have to think it's more than just bad luck at this point

How many captains is that now this year?

10-4, but it's less about losing Carter and more about Donaldson just being a subpar 10 (from what we've seen). Hard to make the call without having seen Donaldson have a run, but we seemed to be onto a decent thing last week, so not sure now's the time to rock the boat.

Yeah Vuni was screaming and gesturing for him to push out too - not good D from Donaldson in that instance at all. Was the biggest blip of his night imo

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Pretty damn good guests - I suppose it helps when they're the in-laws. Princess Anne really is impressive

It would be surprising if Faessler is dropped - his throwing is consistently strong, with that performance being an anomaly. The throws themselves were actually decent iirc, just appeared mistimed and/or miscommunicated. Equally as likely that the pack were stuffing up the lift

Yep - been pretty impressed with his media duties too. A reluctant leader, but he's really stepping up.

    Rugby World Cup 2023

Likewise - people who don't usually do so are bringing up the rugby in conversation, and not just the Wobs' matches either

Be interesting to see the game plan this week. Against Georgia it was clearly one designed to target territory, not possession - referenced by Skelton in his excellent rev up that was picked up in the huddle after Tate went down, as well as a few other Wobs post-match. I'm not sure that will...

GAGR Wallaby POTY 3-2-1 v Georgia (RWC)

    3. Skelton 2. Tupou 1. Donaldson Really liking how varied the POTM nominations have been game-to-game this year

    Wallabies 2023

I think he seemed anonymous to some as he played a different game from his usual - a lot tighter and got through mountains of grunt work at the rucks.

RWC 2023 - All Blacks pool matches

The Stan commentary being about 1sec ahead of the picture is so mildly annoying that it’s infuriating
