    tahs turnaround

everything needs to be looked at. Marketing: mud smeared tahs on the back of taxis - can we do anything better than that? Promotion: the tahs do a lot of small scale community stuff, but none of it is promoted. They should make fan days a better event at times when people can turn up...

    tahs turnaround

Re: the McKenzie article and Chas's point 4 the main thing I took out of the article is that the key to the business success of the reds is not in the players or the coach, but the CEO and his team. in particular this: "The point is that everything is part of the rugby experience and how...

    Waratahs 2012

yeah, the Cheetah's (or possibly Griqua's) coach was in a SA online paper yesterday saying somehting to the effect of "it's a shame the boks picked Charl McCleod because now Sarel is going to the tahs" If the decision is made I'll stop bitching about it and by next year will be in the stands...

    World Cup Jerseys 2011

I hadn't even seen the shorts. That whole kit is plain awful. God I hope the Italians do a better job At least the boks shirt is the right colour and style

that's a bit harsh there, Gnostic. Dennis, Mowen, Horne, Timani, Douglas, Kepu, Carter, and arguably TPN and Beale all improved since 2008. Mumm, robinson, cross, Palu (when fit) and Waugh all stayed about the same. The only one who's gone backwards is Turner.

yeah, but that's illegal. you might as well say ou love to watch McCaw enter the ruck from the side, or See lineout jumpers get taken out in the air.

    Wallabies Jerseys Going Cheap

I still have an 03 RWC Italia jersey which is (blessedly) made from proper thick cotton, and although is a slimish fit, I don't end up looking like a python who swallowed a gazelle

    vickerman vs michalak

hi tight 5 and welcome I think consensus is that the Shorks applied for Freddie to be allowed to play as they had extensive injuries and no halfback cover, whereas the tah's had plenty of locks, so didn't apply. It was a bit cheeky of the shorks to then use freddie as a 10, but it didn't work...

I have the exact opposite problem. Lycra plus former prop = Duncan Bell Syndrome

    Waratahs 2012

IIRC Dud Roodt was an emerging bok, and that didn't count as a cap, however the reports are all saying Sarel would be a 2 year "marquee" signing, possible because he is mooted for a bok squad spot this year. That's my only beef with it really, if we can secure him long term then I am all for...

Which team will you support (Only Tah supporters)

I don't think anyone "Should" support annother Aussie team, but i respect their right to do so if they would rather support a team from their country than a team they feel less affinity for. I will support the reds because of twitter, basically. Having gotten to hear and converse with some...

    Waratahs 2012

respectfully, I dont think the crowds are at games because of the community spirit of nurturing local talent, they are there because their team is killing it in the comp. I agree that you need exciting players, as well as players who can create a win, in order to draw crowds, but is buying...

    Why is Tom Carter unpickable?

I was referring to wynard. Solid super rugby player, sorely lacking when tried for higher honours

    Why is Tom Carter unpickable?

This analysis makes one thing clear; Tom Carter is the Australian Olivier. On that basis we should not consider him for higher honours :)
