    Rugby Jerseys and Merch Deals

Kooga Australia will be taking up to 60% Off everything in their online store depending on the number of facebook "likes" they get between now & Dec 5th. They've got to go from 7,000 to 15,000 fans to get the full deal activated but that would make for some good prices. Not a bad marketing...

Rugby League players who could have/could make the switch

Maybe Antonio Kaufusi? Tariq Sims would be a good pick up too. Put him in the centres to smash Nonu & SBW.

Rugby League players who could have/could make the switch

Akuila Uate on the wing, Tom Learoyd Lahrs as a lock/backrower, Cooper Cronk as a 10/12, Inglis at Outside Centre and Slater at fullback.

    Currie Cup 2012

Well done to the Lions. It would've taken a brave man to back them to win by so much after the Sharks smashed them a couple of weekends ago.

Wayne Smith signs off as chief rugby writer at the Australian

Maybe someone here can offer him a spot writing under a fake name? Must all be part of Murdoch's repackaging of the Australian with paid online content etc.

    Rougeries's eye gouge

Wonder if Rougerie will be booed with every touch if he ever plays in NZ again.

RWC FINAL - New Zealand vs France

Must be an absolute dream come true for Donald. From fishing with your mates to kicking a World Cup Final winning penalty within the space of 2 weeks. Well done to him for holding his nerve under enormous pressure.

RWC FINAL - New Zealand vs France

The French really stood up to the AB's challenge tonight. And I have to wonder how much that will cost them in fines from the IRB for daring to cross the halfway line for the Haka... But I think it would be great to see some video analysis later in the week of the AB's work at the breakdown...

RWC FINAL - New Zealand vs France

I think the realization they might win it is getting to the French now.

RWC FINAL - New Zealand vs France

Piri Weepu must have been reading too many of those "I've got this!" posters because his kicking gone to shit since they came out.

Franks back to his illegal "creating of space" already. And they'd only had the balls for 2 seconds....

    2011 Spring Tour

Mitchell will have had 8 weeks from doing the injury against Russia to the first tour match. If he's fit I think he should tour. No such thing as a meaningless Test match.

Power outage hits Kingsland... There'll be riots if they can't get that sorted out fast.... http://www.nzherald.co.nz/rugby-world-cup-2011/news/article.cfm?c_id=522&objectid=10761114

    2011 Spring Tour

Apparently only taking 26 - no need for a large squad with only 2 matches to be played. http://news.smh.com.au/breaking-news-sport/coopers-injury-blow-opens-door-for-barnes-20111022-1md65.html And Sharpe is keen for more Tests despite the FoxSports commentary team trying to send him in to...

3rd Place Play Off - Wallabies v Wales.

Hmmm.... Uk telegraph doesn't think the Cooper stories been done to death yet. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/rugbyunion/international/australia/8840615/Rugby-World-Cup-2011-New-Zealand-should-be-ashamed-by-the-vile-abuse-directed-at-Australias-Quade-Cooper.html

    3-2-1 vs Wales

    3. Barnes 2. O'Connor 1. Sharpe Real shame for Cooper. He was on track to get my 3 points before the injury. Wales were giving him that little bit of space to work in that he needs and I really thought he was about to tear them apart rather than his knee.

3rd Place Play Off - Wallabies v Wales.

We certainly got up for the match. Were clearly the better team and would have won by more if not for some ordinary officiating and untimely injuries. Well done to the Wallbies. Also well done to Wales, enjoyed cheering them on up until tonight. Who knows how things would've gone if Priestland...
