    Where to for Super Rugby?

More difficult without $$$, amateurs can do what they want

    Where to for Super Rugby?

It would be a sort of draft system (as you can't really force players) but most would want a play somewhere they are actually wanted I think it could go both ways with a few Aussie players being picked up by Kiwi sides as well, you guys need props ;) As long as selection eligibility is...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

They are selling media content, it is all about getting the balance right between quality and total hours to fill with ads

    Where to for Super Rugby?

The suggestion today of a pool system for excess Kiwi players is interesting, we want competitive teams and to reduce talent hoarding I would go further, it would be good to see the TT use the the current Kiwi super system for all teams, that is, each team only gets to have say 25 protected...

    Aussie Player Exodus

Both have taken covid pay cuts and wouldn't be on big money in the first place

Super Rugby AU Round 6 - Waratahs vs Reds @ SCG, Saturday 8 August 2020

Just another game that reminds us that professional sport often comes down to what is happening between the ears and turning up ready to play, week in week out Tahs didn't in their last game, ponies and reds this week How they all preform next week is the key issue

Super Rugby AU Round 6 Rebels v Brumbies, 7.05pm Leichhardt Oval, Friday 7th August

A cold, wet, miserable night @ Leichhardt I think the game will be described as "one for the purists"

Super Rugby AU Round 6 - Waratahs vs Reds @ SCG, Saturday 8 August 2020

The Rebel's rush defence took their time away and they were bad, so many mistakes

    All Blacks vs Kangaroos?

There was one of these piles of shit played years ago, at one scrum the rugby side did a basic shove, the league scrum came up swinging

    All Blacks vs Kangaroos?

It can't really work, they are now totally different sports, rugby is about the ability to compete for the ball at every interaction, league has little, to no, competition for the ball, so scrums, lineouts, rucks, mauls and the simple stripping of the the ball have been removed That has...

    Wallabies 2020

I am getting concerned with the number of sensible comments coming out https://www.rugby.com.au/news/2020/07/30/super-rugby-au-wallabies-mckellar-patience

    Waratahs 2020

I wouldn't be surprised that Rennie won't be using him, so no Wobs, bye bye

    Waratahs 2020

I think what RA could actually offer was more about what money couldn't buy. A chance to go to the Olympics and root yourself around the world on the 7s circuit while he grew up Instead, he will be training at Heffron Park and having weekends away to Townsville

    Waratahs 2020

I understand Souths have been paying for his schooling, I respect his loyalty. And after listening to Sam Burgess on House of Rugby, he is in the great hands of Wayne Bennett, good luck to the guy

"If" those numbers are correct, you will want a lot of value for a unit in the backend of his contract Essential you are buying a talented 2yro race horse, so much can go wrong

    Wallabies 2020

No, he is good, but he is a light lock and Simmons plays like a light lock, both are more effective when they can't be focused down You see the same at the Tahs where having 4 options is making the lineout more of a weapon; but as with the Tahs the 6 & 8 also need to do that extra grunt work...

    Wallabies 2020

I would guess Salakaia-Loto & Simmons will be the locks so we will need both the 6 & 8 to be lineout options and be angry around the field

    Wallabies 2020

We need one backrower who can be that effective third lineout option, Hooper is the obvious 7, so either the 6 or 8 need to have that skill

    Australian Rugby / RA

Yep, he is physically unlikely to be ready for a full season of adult 13s or 15s for a couple of years So being offered the opportunity to be paid well to travel the world as a 17/18 yro and be a chance at being an Olympian sounds like a nice "gap year" to me.
