    Refereeing decisions

Why don't they have the right to do it? The game is about contests, you can choose not to contest something.

I guess it depends on the speed of the "wedge/maul/whatever the term people want to call it". However I completely understand your point.

    Refereeing decisions

Under the new directive the ball needs to stay at the front. If that happens then the "maul" can advance as the ball carrier is still accessible, it's when the ball is transferred to the back that we have an issue.

    Rebels 2015

    Nope.

    Refereeing decisions

You're misunderstanding the situation. The lineout should have taken place outside of the 22m line, yet they took the QTI inside the 22m so they have taken the ball back in. The AR rightly put his flag down as the QTI was fine, the issue was the fullback kicked the ball out on the full so we...

Ellison would be wasted on the wing. I liked Inman/Ellison in the centres this year.

It's not though. Here is a clip of the scenario in question and it's the right way to handle it.

Is Sefa back yet? He didn't have any bandages on his hands at all on the weekend.

Rising v QLD Country, 18 Oct @ AAMI Park

Hopefully he can push for an EPS spot at one of the clubs.

Number 7 is a Melbourne product IIRC, good to see him playing in the NRC.

    Rebels 2015

I wouldn't, Quins makes more sense.

Moorabbin is getting up there as well. On a wet day the best ground in Vic is at Souths due to the sand base.

Did you see the 7s Kevin? Was a decent day out there I thought, however the teams like Tribe, Red Rock, Daveata and Auckland will be the main contenders this weekend.

It's taken back into the 22m and the LOT is where the ball was kicked from.

1 week for that tackle?! He deserves a long sit down of at least 6-8 weeks IMO.

    Finals predictions

It's all TBC I believe. However a Sunday arvo game makes more sense than a Thursday night for the final IMO.

    National Rugby Championship 2014

It also helps that we now have a Melbourne based Super Rugby team to use for players. In the ARC all the players had to be flown in IIRC and this cost money. Melbourne burnt through a lot of cash last time and are still recovering in some respects.
