World Rugby Player and Team of the Decade Awards

BOD is a bit of a joke too. He wasn't great this decade. Absolutely phenomenal the previous decade though.

I'm sold. North lucky to be there.

World Rugby Player and Team of the Decade Awards

Actually the more I think about it, A.Smith was very hard done by. Easily the best 9 of the decade.

World Rugby Player and Team of the Decade Awards

I disagree, Savea only had 2-3 good years at Test level.

World Rugby Player and Team of the Decade Awards

Plus his lack of kicking ability, but finishing abilities were outstanding.

    Wallabies 2021

The more I hear about Wright at 15 the more i like the idea. Banks is pretty damn good at super xv level but I'd still want to see what Wright can do.

Wallabies v Pumas, Bankwest (Parra), Sat 5th December

DHP is just so god damn slow these days. And if he ain't reliable now with his loads of experience, then it's time to move on.

If Folau were a winger there is no doubt in my mind he would have made it, they may have even chucked another Pocock move and put him on the wing anyway if he wasn't a homophobe.

World Rugby Player and Team of the Decade Awards

I think it's a pretty good representation. It's never going to be perfect. A Smith the obvious exclusion which is a bit of a head scratcher but I see how the others got there place. Happy to see Pocock there and agree with McCaw being the best of the decade, especially after winning 2 world...

Wallabies v Pumas, Bankwest (Parra), Sat 5th December

I think last year our forward pack was quite good as well, but our backs very very poor. Especially in RWC. Ironcially, Hooker and locks were probably a strength of ours in RWC.

Wallabies v Pumas, Bankwest (Parra), Sat 5th December

Bit pessimistic there about our forwards. I think we are nearly there. TT is so close to being world-class, some would argue he is already there if it wasn't for his discipline. AAA, Slipper are solid as well. Sio has been average but we know he can step it up. Hooker is serviceable without...

Wallabies v Pumas, Bankwest (Parra), Sat 5th December

Agreed, if you want your 'safe' player who does the basics well, then you go with Banks. But personally, and I think most of you would agree, it would have been nice to see what Maddocks can bring. Same goes for half the players BR named. Lolesio, Simone, Paisami and even Wright were all...

Wallabies v Pumas, Bankwest (Parra), Sat 5th December

So if your Brumbies/Reds/Tahs supporter make sure you always include players from all teams otherwise your post becomes invalid. What a load of rubbish. The worst part of these boards is how quick everyone is to point the finger about provincial bias. Even if there is a bias (which in some...

Why does Harrison have a higher ceiling then Lolesio?
  15. Viking

Wallabies v Pumas, Bankwest (Parra), Sat 5th December

Or blood Lolesio who has proven to be better... Harrison will need to outperform Lolesio and other flyhalves next year to get a shot.

Wallabies v Pumas, Bankwest (Parra), Sat 5th December

Yes but you don't develop a player quickly by throwing them to the wolves. Just look what happened with Lolesio's first game.

Wallabies v Pumas, Bankwest (Parra), Sat 5th December

I still like Rennie. Biggest criticism is his use of the bench and bench player selection. Game-plans seem fine so far - think it's more execution from players then anything.

Wallabies v Pumas, Bankwest (Parra), Sat 5th December

I agree with that it's not fair to say "he's bought into his own hype". But that's not my argument. I'm saying he makes poor decisions on the rugby field based on all the Test matches this season. You seem to be implying he is a smart footballer and it's all the coaches fault - I disagree there.

Wallabies v Pumas, Bankwest (Parra), Sat 5th December

No one will be groveling at Dean's feet. I think we'll grovel to League for half there playing talent before then.

I think you misread my post. I said the players were making poor decisions and have no rugby IQ. I just referenced a Dean's comment. Nothing about this being Rennie's fault.
