    Reds v Waratahs, rd2 SR2013

Doesn't look good for Gill, off for a concussion test. That would be the 2nd of the day after Conrad Smith.

    Reds v Waratahs, rd2 SR2013

Folau learning the 15 man code the hard way so far in this game. Reds have looked really good. But Tahs pushing the offloads is gifting possession and breaks to the Reds. Tahs need to to get some reward for their possession and territory but there will be plenty more mistakes.

Blues v Hurricanes Super Rugby rd 1 2013

Thought this was a fantastic game and the Blues did really well to come back after that penalty try. It's just a pity there were so few fans there to witness it, but I guess Hurricanes fans will be glad they stayed at home.

    RBS 6 Nations 2013

I'd love to see Henderson get some game time, I think he's the closest in style to Ferris of the new crop of forwards. I agree with Paddy, DOC should remain on the bench for 2 reasons, 1) It means a younger guy will get more than the usual 0-10 minutes of game time and 2) DOC is one of those...

    Waratahs 2013

Perhaps the number of Tahs members has something to do with the Lions? There are probably a lot of 1 season only members hailing from such traditional Tahs strongholds as Cork, Llanelli, Edinburgh, Leicester etc.

    Waratahs 2013

I mistakenly read the first line of LG's last post as a response to the last line of Bruce Ross' post 2 above it and had a little chuckle to myself. It's the little things in life that make us happy, oh and a Tahs win at the weekend wouldn't go amiss either.

<insert here> of the week - input needed

How about "third eye" of the week. It's something soccer AM do in the UK where people submit something their eagle eye has spotted and wasn't highlighted on the main broadcast. Say a touchie/sub/medic/ball boy etc. falling over or doing something funny in the background of a piece of footage...

    RBS 6 Nations 2013

Hit the nail on the head, I think if you asked how confident Ireland support were for the rest of the 6 nations if everyone had a fair crack at the starting spot based solely on form then there would be a lot more optimistic Irish supporters right now. If you Added in JSRF10's point about the...

    RBS 6 Nations 2013

I would agree with you Dai, that on top form Warburton is a better player the Tipuric. But Warburton is no where near top form and currently Tipuric is a much better player. It would do Warburton a world of good to have to earn his starting spot back in the team. Wales are Ireland are very...

    Waratahs 2013

Michael Lynagh is tipping Falou for big things this year. On the wrap up of Sky Sports UK's coverage of the Brumbies v Reds he picked Falou as his player to watch this year. He said that although he's still got a lot to learn he's looked very impressive in the Tahs trial games. I'm very...

    Waratahs 2013

Thanks Slim for the link, unfortunately no answer to my question on there but it's good to have the official site. Maybe when they get around to updating the table I'll see, but I imagine it is just 2 byes and the other site's database can't handle this year's format as ptah said. Kiap...

    Waratahs 2013

Can anyone confirm how the Bye, in terms of points, will work this year? I understand how the fixture list has been shifted around to accommodate the Lions tour. What I need confirmed is that my understanding of how the points for the bye will work this year as there is conflicting information...

    Brumbies v Reds rd1 SR2013

The way the 2nd half was going an intercept or a mistake looked the most likely way either team was going to add to the try count. Brumbies deserved the win but they've still got work to do on their attack.

    Brumbies v Reds rd1 SR2013

Reds were really poor but the game this week might give them an edge of the Tahs next week who I expect to be just as rusty.

Put that one on a plate for Mogg.

    Brumbies v Reds rd1 SR2013

If Brumbies kicking for the posts is this poor all season it's going to cost them 1 or 2 games. They should be out of sight by now.

    Brumbies v Reds rd1 SR2013

My bet's on the Brumbies being the ones to get the first yellow. Ref is frustrated with both sets of players now.

    Brumbies v Reds rd1 SR2013

It's really disappointing to see the call sequence on the scrum is the slower one that has developed up here in the NH over the season. Ref is adding in his own silent pause between touch and set and I think it's contributing to how many early engages there have been. Would like to see it go...

    Brumbies v Reds rd1 SR2013

Reds did well to keep the Brumbies out there, but on the other side the Brumbies lack of variety in their attack didn't really ask any questions.

    Brumbies v Reds rd1 SR2013

Been the usual early season stuff in the first half, plenty of mistakes and the odd set to. Thought the Brumbies did well for their try. One thing different to last year is I don't remember the music they play at every break in play being as irritating last year. Seems to accentuate the lack...
