    Southern Inland Rugby 2012

Just a quick overview of where all the clubs are sitting at the moment. I'll follow up with some more detailed info after the Leeton 10's and SIRU Knockout. Aggies – Great signing in Richard Turnbull as coach, no major player signings as yet, but you never know who they may uncover out at...

John I Dent Cup - Canberra Competition -

They've had some short sighted administrators running the club into the ground while lining their own pockets. This may not be the story now (and from all reports it isn't) but it has definitely been the story over the years. The disappointing fact about this is that there are plenty of guys...

Vikings are a shit club with HEAPS of money. That's fucked. Money talks in the 'Berra, maybe they should be the Brumbies major sponsor? They could fund all of the Brumbies Community Rugby initiatives on their ear.

John I Dent Cup - Canberra Competition -

Ever heard the NSW or QLD organisations refer to their club scene by anything other than "Club Land"? This is a universal term to describe anything outside the elite programs run by each and every franchise. There are plenty of players who have come through the ACT juniors system that have...

Sean does a great job down in the Illawarra and has been in that role for a while now. Craney is a great fella, spent some time with RugbyWA from memory as well as the ARU's Rugby Road Train to tie in with the RWC2003. He is a really good contact if you get to know him. Searly has been in...

    Brumbies 2012

The Beep should only form a part of the training regime. I agree that it is important to beep well, but it's not the only aspect of training. Beep tests are there as a measurement tool and also to let the player's know the coaching staff are keeping an eye on them!!

    First Junior Coaching Role.

Get accredited. Plan your sessions. Ask your local DO or DO Manager for some tips. www.actrucoached.rugbynet.com.au has some good drills on it. Have fun with it!!

Agree 100% Leave Sydney in Sydney and get back to talking about how things are looking for the Ponies in 2012. Does anyone know what the Brumbies are up to on the weekend of the 18th/19th Feb??

    Southern Inland Rugby 2012

Ok, so the only club I know of without a confirmed coach is Albury. Jack Burey has been appointed as the new DO which means he will stay at CSU. Manning Doughty is back in Wagga and will play at the Tahs. Junee are talking about entering a 3rd Grade side in 2012.

    Brumbies 2012

Hand needs to harden the fuck up. He is not up to Super Rugby standard. As an ex-lock, it really pisses me off to see soft cocks playing in that position, the tight five should be your enforcers around the park and make sure the opposition know that when they go to the breakdown you are going to...

    Australian U/20s 2012

Has anyone seen Stuey Dunbar running around lately? Any thoughts? I just saw an ad with him in it for the Scots School and haven't seen or heard anything about him for a while. Hailing from Junee, Stuey was a foundation member of the Wagga Juniors and showed some real talent as a young fella...

Union or League - what did you start with?

For me, Soccer, then Union at about 12 years old. Played a bit of league at school, not much though. Never played AFL even though it's the number one sport in the Riverina.
