    Wallabies Watch

Horwill has played what, one season out of the last three and we're giving him two months of rugby before he's ready to face the Lions? I won't be the least bit surprised if he doesn't make it. Inman is too limited to play for the Wallabies. He's a bosher and not a great one at that.

    Lions Tour 2013

Because he's been shit for the last five years give or take.

    Rebels 2013

My understanding is they'll have to be bailed out in the short term, looking for new financial backing already but no one is keen. It's very, very bad news.

    Rebels 2013

Without wanting to come across all Growden, I'm getting pretty solid mail that the Rebels are in big financial trouble and will be needing an ARU bailout before to long. Apparently things will come to a head around June.

    Lions Tour 2013

His playmaking. I'd argue their kicking games are much of a muchness, as is their offloading. JOC (James O'Connor) is a better runner in tight and has a better long-passing game, but I don't feel he brings his teammates into the game as much as Beale does. Beale isn't at 100% right now, no point denying that...

    Lions Tour 2013

    He definitely is.

    Rebels vs Force, RD1 SR2013

I'm out of the country at the moment so missed seeing the game proper. I saw a lot of people talking about Bieber's tactical kicking, but wasn't that impressed when I saw it. Didn't get great connection on a lot of them. When Woodward comes back I'd like to see him get a run at fullback and...

    Rebels vs Force, RD1 SR2013

Why? He was terrible there for the Rebels last year. He did his best work against the Force as a runner, not sure how pushing him into 10 helps that.

Would also make for the slowest and most predictable midfield anyone has seen since Noon-Tindall.

    Sidey.

    Rebels 2013

Too many good ideas, not enough Lachlan Mitchell.

    Rebels 2013

Yeah? I know he's played flyhalf, wing and fullback before. Can't say I've heard or seen anything about him at 12. Who would take his place on the wing?

    Rebels 2013

    9. Stirzaker 10. Beale 11. Vuna 12. JOC (James O'Connor) 13. Inman 14. Rokobaro 15. Woodward Might actually score some of those try things I keep hearing about.

    Rebels 2013

Personally I think Inman is a plodder. A big plodder, granted, but a plodder nonetheless. Playing him at 12 would restrict him to a McCabe-esque boshing role up the middle, which might not be the worst thing. My preference is definitely for a Beale - JOC (James O'Connor) - Inman combo though. Preferably with...

    Rebels 2013

Actually, in saying all that, Inman at 12 with Bieber outside him would be interesting to watch.
  17. Dumbledore

    Rebels 2013

I'm not particularly worried to be honest. Beale was completely fine on the EOYT, he's no peaheart like Cips or Cooper. JOC (James O'Connor) has shown he's up to it as well, even if he did miss a read on Carter last year and missed a tackle on McCabe. Who are the other options? Sidey? Mitchell? JOC (James O'Connor) over them...

    Rebels 2013

Just on this quickly. It's something people have started to say, and it isn't really true. JOC (James O'Connor) was picked for the Wallabies on the back of his performances at 12 for the Force where he was absolutely slaying. In more recent times the 'JOC (James O'Connor) for 13' brigade use his in-an-away against the Saffas...

    Rebels 2013

He was better at 12 than he was out on the wing. He's an honest trier, and provides cover for a lot of positions, but I don't think he'll be first XV this year.

    Wallabies squad named

Jones would be worth a look at 6 long before Neville. Neville is a fantastic athlete but he's very, very raw.
