    Sharks v Rebels RD 6 2013

Rule 88 of 1902 Section 18 sub paragraph 3 states every side are allowed to have a off day whether its at home or away beginning or end of season. Sharks played awful and Brumbies capitalize on it and played brilliantly

    Scrum Talk

Maybe if we allow them to throw it in crooked the ball will come out at other end without a kazillion resets. Before that front rowers get a chance to try their dirty tricks the ball is already at the back then add a simple 5 second rule and off we go Just a thought though

Penalty try Hurricanes vs Blues - What the?

But its still not a penalty try because Savea did not reach the ball first. If Savea had laid a hand on it and it was knocked like they did there yes penalty try. But remove that action. Imagine the first guy to reach it dots it down? Who? Defending player. No penalty try just a penalty

    Interpretation of Rules

Perfectly legal. Nothing wrong with it nor did the crossing prevent a defender from putting a hand on him.

    Brumbies 2013

I think you misunderstood me. The Brumbies use their skills and use it in a unified group everyone playing for each other. Giving a 110 percent for each other and doing everything as best they could. Where teams like the Reds and Tah's have brilliant players themselves but you will see the...

    Brumbies 2013

So you are saying team work have nothing to do with it? Look at the Sharks good team fell short to less skilled opponents in the CC final of 2011 and 2012. Why? Simple too many individuals not enough team work. Don't think you realize the critical importance of attaining unity when working as a...

    Brumbies 2013

Tah's fall short of expectations simply because they rely on their individual abilities in stead of creating constructive synergy by merging their talents with the rest of the group like the Brumbies do

Penalty try Hurricanes vs Blues - What the?

You can't say a try would have been scored because Savea did not even reach the ball first. A infringement in the in goal does not mean automatically a penalty try,

Penalty try Hurricanes vs Blues - What the?

It is hard to see that in this case a try would probably have been scored. The right decision would have been a penalty, five metres from the Blues' goal-line and 15 metres in from touch.

    Scrum Talk

How can you penalize someone when the first offense was a crooked feed? How can you say it is a crooked feed when the scrum wasn't stable. How can the referee allow the ball to be put into a unstable scrum? Now work it out yourself

    Refereeing decisions

Rugby presents a unique challenge in that the referee is required to make a specific decision about a contested tackle almost 200 times a match. That is one every 30 seconds roughly and in a game he has to make over a 100 decision in a split second. Different referees have a different sequence...
