RWC 2019 Draw: Seedings & Qualification

I don't understand why world rugby leave the seedlings and pools so late. I think they should definitely allow more time and organise the pools at least two and a half decades before the tournament starts. That would give the competing unions proper time to develop their respective breeding...

    Reds 2017

QC (Quade Cooper) is in desperate need of a strong as fuck sports psychologist. The red card was just waiting to happen nevause he refuses to correct his technique. There are so many strong points with him that it's ridiculous - but his constant refusal to address his flaws is beyond a joke. whoever is...

Round 4: Lions v Reds, Sun 19 March @ 1:15am AEST Ellis Park, Johannesberg

Disappointing but it'll take a while to sort through the seemingly constant mistakes the reds have built into their system. Talking about wins in SA prior as a springboard to a successful season prior to setting foot onto a field is all kinds of wrong and stupid. One game only, fellas and in...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Some interesting options being suggested in this thread. I imagine Sanzaar will somehow manage to come up with something else entirely, and for it to be unimaginably worse. Improbability fields and bistro mathematics have nothing on the powers welded by a boardroom full of suited idiots.

^^^^ That's actually 2nd order dollars. That's a concept beyond Australian business people.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

While I agree with the sentiment that they maybe aren't creating a lot, the brumbies probably are the best in the country at perfecting the talent.

Round 4: Lions v Reds, Sun 19 March @ 1:15am AEST Ellis Park, Johannesberg

By "adapt" did you mean "gain south African citizenship"? Because that is what it would take to appease S. Berry.

AR2 Stuart Berry Shouldn't be allowed to be involved with any game involving a South African team.

Round 4: Lions v Reds, Sun 19 March @ 1:15am AEST Ellis Park, Johannesberg

Frisby's box kicks will need to be protected better than what they were against the crusaders. It would be an astonishing achievement for the Reds to get a win in this match.

    Reds 2017

i certainly believe that the guys that have been parachuted in will have an effect (and are at the moment), but I also am a big believer in the organisation as a whole. There's a lot of players out there that don't have a winning culture. The coaches don't either. The back room probably is...

    Round 3 : Reds v Crusaders - 11 March 2017 - Suncorp Stadium

I think the crowds know the laws (the easier ones that is). They just don't care about them when it's their team on the receiving end. What does that make us as rugby fans? The 16th player on the field. I don't like it when it's over the top like some of the soccer ones, but I think...

    Round 3 : Reds v Crusaders - 11 March 2017 - Suncorp Stadium

I have watched rugby at a lot of grounds over the years and have *never* seen a fair and balanced home crowd. That includes NZ home crowds. I am constantly amazed when I read people commenting about how the home crowd behaves as if their own home crowd are sitting in the stands in their...

    Reds 2017

^^^. Yeah @scoey that's the way I feel about it as well. I said it in the match thread, the Reds have played a number of years of losing rugby and it will take time to overcome that mentality. A lot of the Reds would rarely have been in a position to be well in front with a half to go (or...

    Reds 2017

I think they are fit this year. The shorks game showed that. They don't know how to win is the problem. That'll take time.

    Round 3 : Reds v Crusaders - 11 March 2017 - Suncorp Stadium

My thinking is that it will take a lot of time for us to learn how to win after perfecting how to lose under RG. The two matches I've watched have been a completely different reds to the previous years, and I'm liking where they are going. Stiles mightn't be the one to make them winners all...

I actually enjoyed the game. It was played pretty well and was exciting to watch. I like this Reds team.

Geebus, the fried chicken burger at lefty's on Caxton is spectacular. Put me in a great mood for the game. Go reds.

The Difference Between Kiwi and Aussie/Saffer Teams

There's been multiple coaches and coaching setups across all the Australian teams and despite this there's been a consistent slide in the skills of the players. Across all the teams......... With different coaches......... It's not the coaching that's at fault here.
