I get the theory behind it Reg but I think there could be some benefit to using the scrum as a weapon. It's a lottery though as some games can go for long periods without scrums. I guess we'll know on Saturday night if the plan works.

Yeah I've never understood the man love coaches seem to have for Daley. Not sure he adds anything to the team and actually takes away from a possible strength at scrum time, playing into the Canes hands in my view. I'm also glad Davies is benched. While he may have had a good game stats wise...

I'd really like the games to have an NPC feel to them. The QRU need to spend a bit of money and fix up some of the facilities at Ballymore to make it a fun day out. BBQ's down by the creek and a few tailgater's in the carpark.

Pretty sure it wont be an issue. A crowd of 5000 for these games would be great and I'm sure they could make that work. Grand Final day at Ballymore isn't an issue for drinks.

Apparently at the AGM on Saturday it was mentioned that they had the teams for 2 years. Not sure exactly what that means in terms of managing them though.

I would love to comment on the referees being bias but listening to some of the crap they cop from the sidelines I know I'd find it hard not to be a bit harsh on some teams.

I'm pretty sure they are for sale at the Suncorp stadium shop. Noticed it as I walked past on Friday night but was too dejected to go have a look.

Yeah he hasn't been sighted at Biggs Fields this year. He was probably a 7's player in rugby and it will be interesting to see how he goes in league.
