I've been a member since they moved to Lang Park & around 18k was always around the average, with a couple of exceptions. I noticed a lot of empty seats in platinum & ruby sections throughout this year.

But the point remains that rep players these days don't play enough for their respective clubs to make a difference anyway, to the competitions detriment.

It swings in round a bouts Filth..... it wasn't all that long ago that Souths had the lions share of rep players & in the midst of a golden era, for an example. It's not like the rep players play much rugby for the clubs these days anyway. Your comment just comes across as sour grapes.

Disagree with this, for a start Quade was about 17 or 18 when he had his first games for the Reds & whilst some of them certainly were shocking, you could see there was something special there. I didn't get that feeling at all with Murphy in red, just a feeling of dread.
