Great win today. Randwick forwards really smashed the much larger and highly acclaimed Easts pack and IMO, paved the way for a very courageous win. If they can keep the intensity up, they may just shock a few higher ranked sides.

I had heard he has a neck injury however may be back soon. Not sure how current that info is.

    Shute Shield 2013

Agree with you Bruce - Nugget seemed to get them all on the front foot with a little more space. Good to see also that you don't hold a grudge against former Uni players plying their trade at rival clubs.

Thanks Sid. Where to from here? Cant see the Beasties being easy and Woollhara Oval being dry on Saturday week. Perhaps we all just dismiss yesterday due to the weather and recall the previous form. Do we need to give Harry the Halfback more time to develop? Helliwell seemed to spark things...

    Shute Shield 2013

Knuckles - I beg to differ as I think his attack is really good. On the other hand, he missed a simple one on one tackle against Uni and let in a try. He also threw a few panic style balls in traffic last week however so far, I like what I see. Perhaps his defensive shortcomings are better...

Thanks Sideline Sid Lautolo played Colts last year so must be 20 as is Munro I think. That makes the average age even younger!

RAIN! Does anyone know what Randwick Council are likely to do re use of Coogee Oval saturday? Weather is supposed to improve however the ground will still be a tad wet.

I know someone who bought one to make sure there was one less on the streets after he burnt it. It was a good inititve by Randwick. The club officials are doing all they can to get people to the game. At Coogee there is a family stand, a sponsors area as well as inititives like ladies day. Can...

    Shute Shield 2013

Agree with you Coach. Horwitz did well. Cant help but think the Wicks just got bogged and that the tactics were unhelpful to their cause. The set pieces were even which reflects well on the Wicks pack - watched the ABC replay and they initially criticised the line out however the stats at the...

    Shute Shield 2013

The game should be a beauty. Randwick will be rank outsiders based on Manlys form against Uni IMO. Am thinking Randwick may struggle against the big Manly pack.

yeah - wonder where Brown is - is he injured?

Am shocked by that one. On the other hand, with the current system the forwards play wide so that may not make any difference. Not sure how that would work in attack though. Am please to see Fryer in 1s , he is a talent. I prefer Lautolo on the wing however will be happy if he proves me wrong...

Big Will 2 Fathers (AKA The Longfellow) has been going well. He got good game time in the Uni match and did well. He is hard to beat in the line out, does a good crash ball close to the line, is OK in the mauls and rucks. Does struggle to get around the paddock however adds plenty of value to...

    Colts 2013

Good call Coach. I would pay to watch Horwitz and that back line. They are developing their combinations well.
