2012 Rugby Championship Round 6 Game 2 Argentina vs Australia - 6 Oct

Yeah, the same mighty Argentinian side that just had 50 put past them will surely tear us a new arse in 7 days time. I don't think so. Might not be a pretty match but we will get the job done. If not, Robbie might as well get off the plane in Auckland on the way back.

Rugby League players who could have/could make the switch

So there's this bloke just won a Premiership with the Melbourne Storm. Chambers or something - he might go ok at 13... Well done to Will. Winning at both codes in consecutive seasons is a rare feat.

2012 Rugby Championship Round 6 Game 2 Argentina vs Australia - 6 Oct

Barnes punctured a lung in last night's match. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) out too so maybe McCabe to fullback? http://www.couriermail.com.au/sport/rugby-gold/berrick-barnes-suffered-punctured-lung-in-loss-to-springboks/story-fn8t7efs-1226484795654 I would like to see Tapuai given a shot in 12 but doubt Robbie...

2012 Rugby Championship R5G1 Springbokke vs Wallabies @ the Bull Ring

Could be worse. We could be Southland fans.

Quade telling it how it is

I like to watch, what exactly do you like to watch? Because rugby that Australia's a chance of winning doesn't appear to be it. Berrick Barnes is not the messiah, he's a very naughty boy. Mutton dressed as lamb. Schmoo is washed up. He won't regain his pace after this latest set back...

FFS, the real problem here is that we've had our arses kicked by the All Blacks for 10 years. Robbie doesn't have the answers so he needs to go. JON doesn't have the answers so he needs to go. Nucifora - what is he good for? Keep Quade, and bring back Gits.

Quade telling it how it is

Quade for a while was going as well as his Benny Hill match against the Chiefs back in 07. Possibly because his confidence was down due to being a 10 who was forced to play 2nd receiver the week before and had just copped a month of bullshit about his lack of fitness and whatever else from his...

Adequate? You weren't in Eden Park for the Ireland match were you? Or in Newcastle in June, or on the Gold Coast 2 weeks ago. If that's good enough, I'd hate to see what a fail is.

Quade telling it how it is

Not sure about Mitchell. I'm sure he'd have formed some strong views on the effectiveness of the ARU injury rehabilitation process over the last 2 seasons though. And on the style of play issue, is what Robbie Deans is sending them out to do working? He pensioned off Giteau at 29 because he...

Quade telling it how it is

Well done to Quade. He's generating page after page of news stories for the Wallabies on the biggest weekend of the year for the rival codes. Well played Sir!

Are you just disagreeing with people for the sake of it now? Plane leaves Sydney at 10am for around 13 hour trip to JoBurg. Do you really want to force yourself to stay awake, get there at what would be about 11pm Australian time but 3pm local and then have another 7-8 hours before bed? And...

I wonder if Gits will come back if Robbie goes. He seems to be going well at Toulon this season.

Quade telling it how it is

It'd actually be very interesting to see the reaction of the NZ public if Quade did a reverse Brad Thorn and played league for the Kiwis (with his mate Sonny Bill). All he'd have to do is tick a box to be eligible.

Not JON's fault? Who approved the current contracting system then?

No harder than playing Super Rugby matches in Queensland in February and March.

Next podcast guest: Brett Gosper - CEO OF THE IRB

At the 2009 Bledisloe Cup in Tokyo, many of the locals had no idea what was going on out on the field. And many more didn't even know the game was on at all. What steps are being taken to boost the profile of rugby in Japan? Any chance they'll participate in the Rugby Championship from say 2016?

Quade telling it how it is

QLD Cup has been live on Channel 9 all season in Qld from 2-4pm on a Sunday afternoon... so probably not good to joke about that when the Wallabies can't even get live free to air coverage and super rugby is a midnight 1 hour highlights show.

Quade telling it how it is

Brent Tate is still carving up in the NRL after 3 full knee reconstructions, plus all the dramas with his neck. Do people seriously think there are no clubs who would take a chance with Quade? Or that he'd start in reserve grade? Can we bring a touch of reality to the discussion please...

Quade telling it how it is

If I was the Broncos CEO, I would've given Quade & Khoder a ring last night. He'd repay the first season of his contract before round 1 through increased memberships & ticket sales.

This is all John O'Neill's fault.
