Go for your life. I'm happy to be proven wrong, but from what I've seen he ain't no Fourie. Besides, my main point was that there are other centres who deserve to be there over him.

Australia vs British and Irish Lions - 1st Test (Brisbane)

I disagree. Provided he is fit, Barnes is far and away our best goalkicker. He might have missed a clutch penalty against the Brumbies a few weeks ago, but that was a blip on an otherwise superb kicking record. Last year he kicked superbly in Gold. O'Connor is too hot and cold with the boot...

That really is an uninspiring midfield. I understand why de Villiers is there, but I really don't rate Engelbrecht. Not when there are plenty of better options.

    Team Lists - Round 18

Yeah, I was going to say something. You did have me checking the date for a second though!

    Lions Tour 2013

Beneath the radiant southern cross, we'll toil with hearts and hands. Until this Commonwealth of ours, is renowned across all lands. I can't remember the rest of the second verse. I shit you not though, that was from memory!

    Wallabies 31 Man Squad

Yeah my bad, I think my tongue in cheek comment was taken seriously. I don't want AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) on the wing. I do find it amusing that the ARU has listed AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)'s positions as Fullback - Wing - Midfield, in that order.

    Wallabies 31 Man Squad

So if Tomane is out with an injury, that should mean that Honeybadger and Folau will be starting on the wing. I can deal with that. Actually, I would be happy with any combination of Morahan, Ioane, HB, Folau or Tomane on the wings. Another option is to have McCabe at 12, Horne at 13 and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)...

    Rebels 2013

Yes, in my opinion it is definitely a yellow. It is quite hard to imagine any other outcome. Even though it was at speed, the tackler at no stage made any attempt to use his arms. You won't generally lead with the shoulder that high unless you are looking to put a shoulder charge on. Then...

Battle of the Blood Red: Lions v Queensland Reds 8th June 2013

Very happy with the boys. They had a real crack and let the Lions know that they were in a game. Luke Morahan was a standout on both attack and defence.

    New Zealand vs France

FrankLind does have a point. Seems a bit strange to change the thread title, when it didn't seem offensive.

    Grats Quade

Congrats Quade. I really hope he puts his best foot forward tomorrow night. If for nothing else, just to say that he took on the Lions and didn't take a backward step. As for querying the validity of the thread, are all the Quade hate threads needed? What about the thread questioning Marto...

Battle of the Blood Red: Lions v Queensland Reds 8th June 2013

We have Phipps playing for us? I don't know what Robbie Deans or Damien Hill would say about that. :p I would also prefer Nick Frisby over Nick Phipps. :)

All Black squad to play France.

By the looks of that AB team, it seems that Hanson is attempting to play a number of players into form against the French. Dagg, Nonu and A Smith all spring to mind. I would have liked to have seen B Smith at fullback, with Ranger on the right wing - and with Dagg warming the bench. Good to...

    Western Force 2014

David Lyons? Matt Giteau? Sorry, I had to.

    Lions Tour 2013

I was just having a look at previous Lions tours and I found it quite interesting. Disregarding NZ Maori and Australia A (which really aren't provincial sides), the last time the Lions lost to a Provincial side was in 1997. The team they lost to was N-E Transvaal, with a scoreline of 35-30. The...

That's pretty much my thinking as well.

Good team. Should make for a cracker of a match. I can't wait!

Force vs B&I Lions - Wed. 5 Jun

Hodgson and Cottrell were very impressive against the Lions last night. They both got through a mountain of work, and Cottrell was very physical at the breakdown. I think that kid has a pretty bright future.

    Wallabies 31 Man Squad

Well, you know you are up shit creek when the Wallaby flyhalf comes onto the forums to voice his displeasure with the coach..

It is only a bad thing when Quade does it..
