Super Rugby 2024: NZ, Drua & Moana matches

Shanked kick aside, Hohepa has made a massive difference for the crusaders. They're looking much more in control than the last few weeks. Rest of the team look to be finding their feet as a result.

Super Rugby 2024: NZ, Drua & Moana matches

Crusaders have done bloody well to hang on and fight their way back. Hasn't been pretty, but they look absolutely desperate not to go 0-4

Super Rugby 2024: NZ, Drua & Moana matches

Pressure is really building on the Crusaders here, feels like they're just hanging on out there.

    Qld Premier Rugby 2024

It's both - the game is free entry but Brothers are selling a variety of packages (club lunch, drinks package, etc) which include a guaranteed seat in the Northern grand stand. The rest of the seating/standing space should be open to everyone.

    Wallabies 2024

Hell, even putting the experienced assistants you have in the roles they're experienced in would've been a step up - Dan Palmer was coaching line out instead of scrum, Brad Davis was coaching attack instead of defence when he was there.

Australian Club Championship - Brothers v Randwick

Dre Pakeho is still only 19 this year isn't he? Looks like a great prospect, interesting to see Brothers have him pretty close to skipping colts and straight into prems.

    Wallabies 2024

Good to see Fisher confirmed and I like that appointment of Eoin Toolan. Good analyst by all accounts and has experience with both Schmidt and Australian systems. Probably the member of the wider coaching staff with the most to do in this period before they get the players for the first time too.

Australian Super Rugby Team of the Week 2024

Aiming to compile the votes this evening, try and get teams in by 5pm AEST to be included.

    Queensland Reds 2024

That was after the first (and possibly second?) time he blew out his knee. Never looked the same again. His debut against the Brumbies in 2012 is probably the most assured and confident I've seen from a fly half.

    Queensland Reds 2024

For one and a half games there Sam Lane looked like a world beater, and then he blew up his knee. Him and Peter Hynes are the two players more than any others that I wish I could've seen what they were capable of with a full career not plagued by injury.

I still think they should call it BERT (Brisbane Electric Rapid Transit).

    Crusaders (NZ) Rugby Team Thread.

Crusaders somehow managing to lose all their most experienced players this year. Barrett out for 6 weeks with a broken finger:

Australian Club Championship - Brothers v Randwick

Reds press release for the team list says Ryan is available for brothers this weekend, so I think we can expect Creighton to be as well (if fit).

Super Rugby: Rd 4, 2024. NSW Waratahs v The Auckland Blues

That sounds like a great way to shatter a young 10s confidence.

Round 4 : Rebels v Reds. Friday Night (Melbourne)

Another lock/backrow or more of a straight backrow/potential openside? I can never tell with Foote's bench numbering

Super Rugby: Rd 4, 2024. NSW Waratahs v The Auckland Blues

Good to see Foketi is no longer indefinite, looks like he might be back relatively soon. That shift to TBC for Porecki is a worry though.

Round 4 : Rebels v Reds. Friday Night (Melbourne)

What's the word on Maciu Nabolakasi? Looks like he's a local product. Will be interesting to see how the Rebels approach the breakdown here, the last few games they've avoided contesting the vast majority of them giving their opponents a lot of quick ball. I have a feeling the Reds might...
