    Ch9 RWC coverage

Fully aware that non Wallabies games are highly unlikely to be on prime time. Could 9 put them on GEM instead or a replay/highlight packages on weekend afternoons in place of reruns such as The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air or The Farmer Wants a Wife that are scheduled on Saturday 10 Sept for example.

    Ch9 RWC coverage

They need viewers to generate advertising which earns income for them. Key to getting an audience is to provide programming that people want to watch. So it is in their interests (and their shareholders) to schedule programs that appeal to viewers. Furthermore, as a shareholder, I would ask...

    Ch9 RWC coverage

Yeah, the England vs Argentina match is listed as being on (on delay) after the NRL finals matches on Saturday 10 September in Sydney, Brisbane and Canberra on 9 in the evening. Movie reruns for the other capital cities by the looks of things. At the very least, why can't 9 show the weekend...

    Waratahs 2012

Yeah the Tahs website isn't the best. Not a lot of updating during the Super Rugby season so no surprises it doesn't get much love in the off season. Can't see much promotion about 2012 memberships going on sale on 8 September either...compare that to the Reds which have had their 2012...

    Ch9 RWC coverage

Pathetic if 9 are only showing Wallabies pool matches on FTA plus finals. Another case of a program/event being treated like crap once 9 gets a hold of it. The rights to other games should be given to ABC or SBS if they don't use them.

    Thankyou Chris Hickey

Did well to get them to the finals in 2011 considering the injuries to various players during the competition. Chris was quite personable at Waratahs functions. Top marks for the way he carried himself at the fan forum. All the best, Chris!

    Ch9 RWC coverage

It is a worry as they don't have a good track record with general programming, let alone sport. They have NRL finals to broadcast as well in September and the big concern is the Wallabies/Ireland game on September 17 which could clash with an NRL finals match.

'Future of Rugby' Announcement in Sydney today

I reckon complaining about Homebush is part of Sydney sporting culture in general.

    John Eales Medal

He earned 50-odd points for the final Tri-Nations game against the All Blacks so if he keeps that up, he could win the big one next year and be even more uncomfortable having to deal with the media.

    Big Cliffy

At the John Eales Medal, he said should be available for selection for the first pool match against Italy. After his long lay off, probably start from the bench for one or two of the pool matches.

    Australian Barbarians jersey

Have you considered getting in touch with KooGa directly to see if any were made for sale to the general public?

    Matt Dunning

If the Tahs 2011 injury run continues into 2012, then he would be a handy backup. He wouldn't dislodge Keps and Fat Cat though.

'Future of Rugby' Announcement in Sydney today

Must have been a slow news day. Sydney usually has two Tests every year, a Tri Nations game and an inbound Test. So the inbound Test will be played at the SFS. Great to have a Test at the SFS, even better if they play on a Sunday afternoon.

    Ha ha...priceless!

    Invisible Wallabies?

If the Wallabies make it to the RWC final, the bandwagon will be close to capacity. As the final will be played in late October, they should also get a good run in the media since the AFL and NRL comps will be over for the year.

    James Horwill Captaincy Decision

Better to have done it at the beginning of the international season. However, as most of the Reds players were rested for the Samoa test, this wasn't possible. It works out OK anyway as Big Kev can make his Wallabies captaincy debut at his home ground in front of a full house. Now Rocky can...

    Looking for a cheap read?

Well, if the Wallabies win the RWC, they can be shredded for the ticker tape parades.

Look who dropped by my club tonight...

Hopefully, Bill gets to stay in Australia for a while from late October.

    Waratahs 2012

Graham Henry will probably be available late October/early November. Maybe he can get the Tahs sorted out.
