Pam Whaley from the DA is doing a top 20 countdown of SIRU players, draw your own conclusions on who you think should or shouldn't be in it. I'm sure there will be a fair bit of ribbing about this within the players! It's great to see this sort of coverage in the paper though as rugby in this...

The Albury Waratahs game has always had plenty of feeling in it, there are some deep emotions there that run back years and years!! It will definitely be a cracker, I'm sure Albury will be happy to have a week at home after being on the road for the last two weeks. I'm interested to see how...

ROUND 16 PREVIEW: So we’re at the final round of the season, there have been plenty of highs and a few lows along the way, but all in all it’s been a decent regular season of rugby for 2012. The finalists are determined in both divisions as far as First Grade are concerned (unless Leeton can...

ROUND 15 PREVIEW: Well, Round 14 saw a near mirror image of the Round 5 Albury v Ag College clash with Aggies putting it over the Steamers in Wagga by a very similar margin. Only one bonus point separates these two teams as they build towards the Finals Series and you would have to think that...

ROUND FOURTEEN PREVIEW: PREMIER DIVISION Aggies (2) v Albury (1) – MATCH OF THE ROUND We are looking at what may well be the 2012 Grand Finalists here this week and there are a number of factors that will influence this game. Pete and Dave Armstrong have both been absent from the Ag College...

Xavier and Matt Binks both started in 2nd Grade on Saturday and only played 20mins of 1st Grade. It would be tough to leave him out, he played rep footy the week prior to this round. I wonder what Aggies will do this weekend with the Armstrong boys? Pete has been overseas and Dave hasn't...

ROUND 13 PREVIEW: Hopefully all the teams are refreshed after their week off for the General Bye and those players who were playing Rep Footy have all recovered well and front up for their clubs this weekend. 1. Joubert 2. M Lawrence 3. Peyper 4. Walsh 5. Williamson If Pollock wasn't injured, he would rate as my number 3. I'm not a huge fan of Walsh but have to admit that he is hitting some form at this stage of the season. I also think that Mark Lawrence is underrated.

Apparently Tahs scored some cracking tries against CSU. What's more interesting is the fact that Mick Roche played 30 odd mins for Tahs on the weekend. My mail says that he made a huge difference in that game. Both teams have the potential to win 2 more games coming into the finals series...

Noa Nadruku was playing 2nd Grade for Easts in the ACT in the early 2000's and still has the odd run for the lower grades when he can if I remember correctly. Empire might be able to confirm this one though.
