Not sure Samoa beating Scotland is a shock, they are about 4 or 5 places above them on the rankings and Scotlands good player is in Australia
Haven't watched the Ireland game yet, hopefully I'll catch the highlights so I can comment some more on it. Joe Schmidt will be with the players in...
Hopefully Zebo gets a chance to make an impression, far more rounded than Maitland and Cuthbert.
Bowe is a huge loss particularly his creativity in attack, Cuthbert showed last night how bad he is defensively he'll be targeted by the Wallabies if he plays.
If Kearney can get fit and have an...
Skelton was immense today, its nice to see our tighthead lock actually make an impact relative to his size.
Massive win over all, given the injuries we have along with all the Wallabies out.
France have pulled out if hosting the final due to the Stade de France's potential unavailability:

Just to add Healy is out for the tour, Jenkins has done his calf again. Grant is called up and Cole is on the bench tomorrow

One sallow doesn't make a summer, Halfpenny is prone to the yips as much as Sexton and Farrell. There seems to be a lot of pundits up north who believe Wilko is the 2003 version who can come in and save the day, probably better for the Lions that those voices can't keep harping on about him
Wilko has had surgery sadly he won't be the knight in shining armour if/when (delete as appropriate) Farrell implodes spectactularly.

Regarding franchises not playing their top players the same debate was had 4 years ago when no Springboks...
Big game for the Reds backrow, they have to target Farrell and Youngs early. Both have imploded in big games multiple times over their careers and don't like getting wound up. That said Youngs does seem to save his best for the Wallabies.
Given the lack of creativity as a whole in the Lions...
In fairness the Lions aren't going to stop touring any of the big 3 they are too much of a money spinner, and why would the hosts want to get the tourists battled hardened anyways? I can see both points of view sure but put it this way if the Lions toured Ireland I would't want them facing any...
Matt Stevens could end the tour as the man with the most minutes on the field, someone would almost think he is good mates with the forwards coach
Same could be said for anyone who played against the Baa Baa's and is why Gatland is paid to make tough decisions. Not that I'm sure he will make them!
Sean Maitland consigned to the dirt trackers possibly Davies as well if he's lining out at 12, Cuthbert by that team is in line for the test 14 jersey ahead of Bowe (both natural 14s) which if true is a mistake.
Tempted to back the Reds in this one. The Lions pack looks quite callow, 2 blokes...
We'll have to disagree on the spear tackle but Warburtons reaction to it says a lot about it him as a man. I'm just not a believer in the hype around him, I think Tipuric is a better seven right now. Don't get me wrong he seems like a decent bloke but if the Lions are to win the series I don't...
Can't agree on Lydiate and Warburton but the rest of your team looks good. I would take both if they were in their World Cup 2011 form but Lydiate has look laboured since his return and so far has looked off the pace. Warburton has played 2 decent games for Wales this season and his form for...
Northampton have lost their two props, have no half backs and are mentally brittle. Ospreys are dangerous on their day and Leinster do have a poor record against them. Castres have lost most of their good players and their management have gone to Racing Metro.
Tough group but I'd still expect...
